The apartment is located on the foothills of Buda. This is a nice and easeful area with great facilities and very good public transportation for Pest and toward Buda’s hills as well.

Various foodstores can be found in the vicinity. One of them is just across the street, and 3 minutes long walk from here you can find another 3 bigger foodstores at the corner of Kiss János altábornagy and Böszörményi Streets, a Spar, a CBA and a non-stop grocery.
There is also a pharmacy here and the nearest ATM at the Prefecture’s side (under the Prefecture’s clock).
The biggest foodstore of the neighborhood stands on the subground floor of the Mom Park Shopping Center, also 5 minutes long walk from the building. Here you can also find an ATM, a money exchange office, a pharmacy, a lot of various shops and a cinema.

For the gastronomic experts, one of the best butcher’s shop of Hungary, namely Mészár Steak, is at the Hegyvidék Centre only 10 minutes long walk from the building.
Here you can also find very good Hungarian wine at the Bortársaság’s wine shop, as well as at the Wine and Arts wine shop on the Kléh István Street which is only 3 minutes long walk from the building.

The neighborhood offers a lot of excellent restaurant: the famous Arcade Bistro at the corner opposite and the charming Larus Restaurant in the intimate Chestnut-grove less than 5 minutes long walk.
In the Mom Park Centre you can also find some very good international cuisines as the Italian Vapiano, the Trattoria Da Lello, the Japanese Wasabi Wok and Sushi Restaurant, the Paulaner Beer House with its authentic Bavarian beer and kitchen.
One of the best cake shop in Budapest, namely Szamos Cukrászda, stands on the Böszörményi Street, only 5 minutes long walk from the building.

To do sports, you just have to walk 5 minutes to the Mom Sport sports center where you can find several sport facilities and a quite big swimming pool and spa area.

Parking is not free in the District 12 excepting from Friday 6 pm to Monday 8 am. Otherwise this zone is paying from 8 am to 6 pm.
Nevertheless you can find a few free parking places hereabouts, for ex. on the Alkotás Street or on the Jagello Street, both of them about 5-6 minutes far from the building.

Great public transportation for Pest and toward Buda’s hills as well.

Only half minute walk to bus 105 which takes you to the Castle (via Castle Hill Funicular departing from the bus stop of Adam Clark Square), to the Chain Bridge, to the Danube Promenade, to the City Centre (Vörösmarty Square, the Basilica, Erzsébet Square – the main intersection point of 3 Metro lines), to Andrássy road with the Opera House, to Oktogon Square and the Grand Boulevard, and lastly to the Heroes Square with the Museum of Fine Arts, the Kunsthalle, the City Park, the Zoo, the Széchenyi Thermal Bath – all these spots can be reached by that single useful “sightseeing” public conveyance.

It is only 4-6 minutes long walk to tram 59 (line Márton Áron Square – Szent János Hospital) or to tram 61 (line Móricz Zsigmond circus – Hűvösvölgy): by both of them the Budapest-Déli Railway Terminal (where can be found also the terminal of Metro 2) and the Széll Kálmán Square (with the terminal of tram 4-6) can be reached in 10-15 minutes.

It is also about 5 minutes long walk to the bus stop “Sirály utca” of bus 112 which takes you to some other important spots of the city as Ferenciek Square, Astoria Square, Blaha Lujza Square or Budapest-Keleti Railway Terminal.

This is our second time in this flat. It is just so convenient with shops, playgrounds, and transport all within a stone's throw. I particularly like browsing the extensive book collection (but then I read Hungarian).

We were unfortunately supplied with the incorrect code to enter the building, which caused confusion when we arrived. Besides for that the flat was great, toys an absolute hit with our child and great value.

Stayed here during Sziget festival. The house was a good space and easily accommodated our group of 5. We enjoyed our stay

The house is exactly the way is described and we have being welcomed by a very fine lady that was in charge to hand us the house's keys. The house has all the facilities you could expect to have a very independent stay cooking for yourself and doing your own laundry if you would like to do so. The location is fine and the transport works very well so you can get anywhere you want and getting back home even late night is just as easy. It was a very happy stay and I would recommend Tamas house to anyone going to that stunning city.

This was a fantastic neighbourhood to stay in with children. There were three fantastic playgrounds in walking distance and access to the sport centre for swimming. There was a market (including an organic market on Saturday morning and local market on Tuesdays), supermarket, butcher, bakery and pharmacy in a few minutes walk. The flat is as in the description and Tamas was prompt in handling the practicalities. The beds are a bit on the soft or hard side, but I would heartily recommend to other families.

The apartment is nice, spacious, clean. Just as described. Great public transportation, good neighborhood. I would recommend it to anyone. Including families or groups. The beds are comfortable, with quality sheets. the neighborhood is quiet. Good sleeps are guaranteed. Great closets. Plenty of space to store your clothes and belongings, even in the bathroom.
