House Rules

Dear guests, Welcome to home Cristina,
as you will see the house is on three levels ... so, you have to be very careful of the stairs, we'll have to live!
You are in the middle of the historical center of Lecce, in a very popular and still true of Lecce, away from the chaos of the stalls, but close to the cathedral that you can enjoy on the terrace on your left.
The area is fairly quiet, and everyone knows everyone. Probably will look at you, but just because you are the new faces in the neighborhood.
I hope you enjoy the hospitality and the wonder that is Lecce.
At the entrance you will find maps of the city and take them after using them leave them for new guests.
At the moment we do not have the ability to provide the bikes, we are working!

Useful information:

GROUND FLOOR
Check that you have closed the door behind you, when you enter the house, the night given a send key from the inside.
If you sleep on the ground floor, you can put the dark red even to the entrance door, these are dark closet.
In the dressing room, after the bath, you can store luggage and hang clothes on the stand, also 3 wooden shelves are free.
Unfortunately this space is in accommodation, this is a service area that we're trying to make it as functional as possible.
At the top there are pillows for the sofa bed, and a few small blankets. In the bathroom, always in this plan, under the sink, there are clean towels.

FIRST FLOOR
For clothes, there are front drawers beside the bed and the dresser drawers are free. In the rear of the bed drawers are clean sheets and blankets.
The small room is only for children, after the initial agreement.

SECOND FLOOR
This is the room of the kitchen and there is also another bathroom.
The shower works before putting up and then adjusting to the left or the contact temperature.
In the top drawer of the dresser there are cutlery, tablecloths in the second and third towels.
Pay close attention to the stairs! above the landing that being smaller, can be misleading.
The refrigerator is a little sloping, so make sure it is always closed, after using it and do not put too many bottles in the door.
To circulate the air just open ambe two sides of the windows, but always remember to close them, is that when you go out at night ... there are a lot of cats cheeky!

HEATER
The house is equipped with central heating and is controlled by a thermostat with a timer, which is located in the bedroom.
Do not operate this timer is already set to come on at certain times, and every time the temperature drops too. However, there are the air conditioners, which are positioned on the air hot and can heat the rooms in a few minutes.

AIR CONDITIONING
As you can see every room has an air conditioner ... I would ask you to use them as little as possible. However, are already set so you need only use the large central button to turn on and off.
DO NOT MODIFY THE SETTINGS PLEASE. AND I DO NOT LEAVE LIT CONDITIONING IN YOUR ABSENCE.
The remote control of air conditioners is the same for everyone and is located on the ground floor on a radiator.

KITCHEN
Please leave the dishes washed and clean the stove, and do not forget anything in the fridge. in the kitchen there are basic necessities: pasta, coffee, sugar, salt, oil, water and small condiments. please, if you finish them, to leave something in place.

Stayed in Gaia's place for few nights and it was great. The ceiling in the bedroom is incredible, makes you feel like you are in a castle. The location of the apartment is perfect because it takes you 4 min to get to the buzzing night streets of old town with all restaurants and bars, while you get to sleep in a peaceful street. We managed to catch a bit of a heatwave and as the kitchen is located on top floor, it was a little hot to be in the kitchen, but there is an AC so sitting under it saved our days. Very recommended!

We had a great week break in Lecce, really good location to walk down to the bars and restaurants but also quiet local street. Lovely old town house style home win traditional Italian looks. Stairs are steep and the place can be quite dusty due to the old styled building but we loved it! Especially the outdoor terrace and ability to eat in using the kitchen! We will definitely return!

A lovely small house in the centre of Lecce, on the inner fringes of the old town. A short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. The house was clean and maintained to a very high standard. Generally the accommodation was very comfortable although we had to get used to the steep, narrow stairs, which were a challenge with our suitcases. The area is very quiet despite its proximity to the historic centre and bustling tourist attractions. The terrace provides a wonderful space to sit in the evening and relax with a glass of wine.

Loved our stay in Gaia's apartment. Ideal location, just a few minutes walk away from the main street and exploring Lecce was easy as a result. Gaia was easy to get in touch with and prompt to reply. Her apartment is unique and stylish and perfectly comfortable. As we had our 2 year old with us, being spread over three floors was a little tricky at times but this was made much easier by the stair gates! There was no WiFi, but easy enough to find local cafes / bars with internet access.

Gaia and her friend made the process of arriving at the apartment very easy, we were greeted outside the flat and given a quick tour of the space. Gaia was very kind and allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment well past the check out time, as we had a later train to catch. The apartment had a lot of character, with a lovely rooftop balcony, and was located in a really convenient spot close to the train station and the center of Lecce. The only disappointing part of our stay was that there was sand/dust between all the bed sheets and there was a very strong smell of air freshener throughout the house which was nauseating at times. Apart from this we had a great time staying at Gaia's and would recommend Lecce to anyone wanting to visit Puglia.
