Welcome to our unique Edinburgh city penthouse. Enjoy views of Edinburgh Castle, Arthur's Seat and the Pentland hills from your dual-aspect room and the wrap-around balcony, accessible from your room. Situated on the stunning Water of Leith, next to the beautiful Saughton Rose Gardens. This apartment has easy access to Edinburgh airport, the city centre, Murrayfield Stadium, or the countryside via car or public transport.

The space
The bedroom has dual-aspect views across Edinburgh, with two points of access to the wrap-around balcony. The room comes with a double bed (Simba mattress), two bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers/hanging space and coat hangers. Note the bedroom does not have a lock on the door.

A balcony wraps around the entire space and is accessible from the bedroom. The sunrise can be enjoyed with a morning cup of coffee on the Castle-facing (West) side and the sunset can be watched (with a glass of something in hand) from the East side. An outdoor table and chairs are available, and blankets, should you wish to enjoy the spectacular views in the fresh air.

The bathroom (complete with bath and shower) is private for guest use only.

You are welcome to use the kitchen during your stay; the living room/kitchen is opposite the bedroom.

I have been a guest in other AirBnB shared homes before, and I know that privacy is important to feeling comfortable. My bedroom and office are at the other end of the apartment, and I will not use the balcony outside the guest bathroom/bedroom during a guest's stay.

The apartment has step-free access from the street, with a ramp in the lobby area, a lift to the floor and a flat corridor leading to the apartment. All rooms are across one floor. Access to the balcony is not step-free (the window frames cause an obstruction of approximately 1 foot).

Our apartment is in the Gorgie/Chesser neighbourhood in the South West of Edinburgh. The apartment is situated right next to the beautiful Water of Leith and Saughton Rose Gardens and Park, which has recently restored gardens, a skatepark, a children's play park, outdoor exercise equipment and an outdoor basketball court.
The apartment is walking distance from local supermarkets, cafes, a pub and Murrayfield Stadium, and regular public transport makes trips into the city centre incredibly easy.
