Stunning beach house just off the Wild Atlantic Way. Newly renovated in 2019 with two hundred square meters facing the sea with spectacular views, light and airy decor. 300 m to pebble beach beloved by families with young children for its calm and shallow waters, fishing pier. 2 km to White Strand beach. The house and garden are utterly peaceful - you will hear nothing but sea and wind, perhaps a sheep - but the charming town of Cahersiveen with its cafes, pubs and shops is just 4 km away.

Other things to note
We now have an electric sprayer disinfection machine of the quality used for hospitals, which our caretaker, Deirdre O'Connor, uses between every changeover so you can be assured that the house is covid-safe.

Where you’ll be

Cahersiveen, County Kerry, Ireland

There is nothing but a tiny road between the house and the sea - the views are spectacular. Walk down the road to the ancient Celtic ring forts, or the ruined Ballycarry Castle, visit the working sheep farm. Located in the Kerry International Dark Sky reserve, the garden is one of the world's best places for stargazing. The town, just 4 km away, has everything you need, from a terrific fishmonger (fresh every day) to a French patisserie. Hear live music in one of many pubs. There are also several good restaurants and an interesting local history museum, mostly devoted to local Daniel O'Connell, known as Ireland's Liberator. Plan a trip to the world heritage site Skellig Michael, a jagged island where 6th century monks lived and worked. Ambitious hikers can walk the famous Kerry Way through the mountains; less ambitious ones can walk part of it. Or...just stay in the house and garden and enjoy complete serenity.
