Exceptional spot right on the lake!! Family owned. A hidden gem with totally private lake point, extensive lake front beach and water access, acres of wooded backdrop, and a rustic and comfortable cottage. Close to wineries and tourist attractions such as Watkins Glen State Park, Geneva, etc. Perfect for family gatherings, a nature retreat with college friends, or a peaceful getaway for a couple.

The space
Our first guests of the season (June 2020) say it best:
“Wow. Private beach is an understatement. If you are looking for location, this is it. The property is absolutely stunning. We spent the entire weekend on the lake. Swimming, canoeing, spending time on the dock watching the boats go by, playing cards at the picnic table on the water, lounging while the sun sets, a beach fire under thousands of stars. We had a perfect, quiet, weekend away. There is a beautiful grill for a summer bbq! We used it for almost every meal. The cottage was perfect for us and our needs; we spent most of our time outside by the lake, but lots of towels, clean linens, dish and cooking ware and comfy beds for crashing after a day in the sun. Already looking forward to planning a trip for next summer!”

Located just a few miles North of Watkins Glen on the West side of Seneca lake with its own private point and beachfront. Beach-level family cottage set back amongst trees, with large flat grassy area leading to the shoreline. Cozy, simple cottage designed in the 1960's, in unspoiled and spacious natural setting, flanked by two bays with waterfalls/gorges on either side of point.

Other things to note
- WATER - we supply filtered drinking water for you as we don't recommend drinking tap water at the cottage. It is fine to cook with however.
- no wifi, however cell service is excellent (hot spots work great)
- canoe and kayak on premises, as well as life jackets, water shoes, floaties and other water toys/equipment
- great swimming and fishing on the lake

I grew up on Seneca Lake in the summers. My grandfather was the village doctor for many, many years in Watkins Glen where my mother also grew up. Our family place is very special to us. I now live in St. Paul, MN with my family.
