Room in a cottage

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Look out at the tree tops from your queen bed with an adjustable foundation. Curl up on the window bed with a book. Your room includes a full bathroom, desk, & sitting area.
The common area shared with two other rooms has a kitchen, dining table, laundry, & coffee bar.
Explore our nine wooded acres which includes 2 waterfalls, 1100' of creek, a koi & goldfish ponds, a garden, picnic area, photo op at the shed, and hikes including one to an overlook of the Columbia River. (No pets - allergies)

The space
Parking is located above the house. The entrance is accessed via a set of rustic garden steps that will take you down to the house (please see photos to ensure you feel comfortable with these). You'll land at the second floor deck where you'll enter through the large sliding glass doors. There you'll enter into a common space shared with 2 other rooms. Each room has its own bathroom.

The common space has a kitchen and dining area, as well as a bookshelf with a mini library, games, puzzles, and a coffee/tea bar.

You're welcome to explore the land, we have 9 acres, 1100' of Carson Creek and two waterfalls. Enjoy the owner's garden. At the upper falls, you'll find an observation deck with 2 chairs to enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a swing down by the creek or cross the bridge and find a seating area beside the creek. There is also seating above the koi pond.

During your stay
I live downstairs in separate living quarters. If you have questions or need anything, I'm happy to interact but otherwise will respect your privacy.

Other things to note
This home was built in 2019. We continue to add and enhance. In 2023 we added a bridge over the creek and a koi pond.

We're a few minutes from the main center of Carson, and SR 14. We're close to Wind River, the Columbia River, Carson Hot Springs, and Elk Ridge Golf Course. We're 6 miles from Bridge of the Gods and PCT, and 10 minutes from Stevenson.
It's 25 minutes to White Salmon/Hood River. 45 minutes to East Portland, 1 hr to downtown.
