We had a great time in Margaret's loft. My daughter enjoyed a lot being with their horses, dogs, hens, ducks, etc.

We liked the privacy and the close proximity to town, the girls loved the horses and were very grateful to have had the opportunity to ride them. Even though the Wi-Fi was very spotty, Margaret was generous enough to have my teenage daughters over to the main house to use their Wi-Fi, The house was spacious and clean and we had everything we needed and then some.

Margaret was a wonderful host providing lots of useful information. The place has been tidy, equipped with all one need and proved to have more than enough space for the four of us. We especially enjoyed the view from the living room. So lovely to watch the farm's animals and the deep green gras surrounding the cottage. The location has been perfect for a week's stay with kids with Dublin just a 45 min ride away and plenty to do and see, e.g. visits to medieval abbeys and castles or Tayto adventure park. Thank you, Margaret, for a wonderful stay (and the welcome-bread which saved or lives on the first evening).

It is a beautiful rural location and it was lovely to see geese, chickens and horses from the front window. It is also only 5 minutes drive from Trim and close to attractions like Newgrange and the Hill of Tara. The space is very spacious, and convenient with 2 bathrooms. It was also very nice to be welcomed with freshly made bread with jam and butter. The only problem was the WiFi was not available during our 2 day stay.

Margaret could not have been a better host, she is the BEST. The country loft is a must stay if you are in the Trim area, it fit our family of 5 perfectly! The irish soda bread was such a lovely welcome! If we ever come back to the area, it will be on our must stay places!!

The apartment is wonderful. It is spacious and has a large living room window overlooking a pasture with horses, geese and chickens that is relaxing to watch throughout the evening. The location is very peaceful and in the midst of the countryside. It's about 45 minutes to Dublin, and 25 minutes to Trim Castle and Newgrange burial site, both well worth a visit. While Dublin is worth visiting as there is a lot to see there I highly recommed staying in this lovely loft as it's so much more relaxing that staying in a city. The beds were comforable and have blackout shades that were very welcome to block out the early morning light. The kitchen had all of the ameneties we needed and the host left some home baked soda bread for us which was a lovely touch.

If you are looking for a laid back and comfortable place, a short drive from Dublin, this is it! Very comfortable, not difficult to find and close to just about anything you want to in and around Ireland. The place was as described and very well equipped for our family, all the comforts of home. If you don't stay here, you are missing out. We did't have time to enjoy the pony rides but we will certainly be back to try this place again. Margaret is a wonderful host and great communication with questions before and throughout our stay.

We and our 2 teenage children live and enjoy working on our small family farm, with our 2 labrador dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses which are available for pony rides if we are home and horses aren't away or out of action at the time. We love travelling around Ireland, and have done lots of international travel also, so we love to chat travel with our guests, and also will give any advice or assistance we can while you are staying with us.
