Simple tidy 3 bedroom home on the quiet south side of Hat Head Creek. 300m to the footbridge when walking over to the town beach or creek for a swim/snorkel or to 'The Gap'. Has nice kitchen, sunny open plan living/dining. There is a wooden outdoor setting, bbq and 2nd shower and toilet in the laundry. Off street parking for your car and boat and still have room for the kids to run and play. Surrounded by natural flora and fauna.

The space
Not keen on the hassle of camping? Stay in our basic home for not much more than a powered site in the caravan park!

Linen is not included but can be arranged on request for an additional fee. Bring your own (sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels & tablecloths) or let me know when booking that you would like us to supply it. Beds have pillows, protectors and doonas.

For stays longer than 2 nights, you will need to bring your essentials eg. toilet paper, soap & dishwashing liquid etc. There may be some basic items in the house and we ask that you replace what you use.

In the lounge there is a 50" smart tv but you will need to bring your own wifi or hotspot from another device. The TV is installed on the wall but cannot be moved. Dont forget to log out of Netflix or Youtube before you leave. There is another TV with inbuilt DVD player in the main bedroom. We have left a selection of DVDs for rainy days.

Fantastic rock fishing, glorious bushwalks, surf beaches and a tidal creek perfect for paddle boarding and snorkeling right behind the house. Whale watching is amazing during winter (they swim so close to the shore you won't even need binoculars!) Head up the Gap and take the path over to Connors beach for the best viewing spots.
There is a walk bridge over to the caravan park and bowling club with a kids' playground nearby. The licensed bowling club has a restaurant open for lunch and dinner (days & times can vary)
There is 1 shop offering takeaway food and a range of grocery items including bait and general outdoor activity items.
The nearest supermarket is in South West Rocks about a 25 minutes drive north or Kempsey 30 mins west (Home delivery available; Coles or Woolworths).
We can arrange breakfast packs (Bacon, Eggs, bread & Milk) from $20 if you let us know a minimum of 7 days prior to your arrival date
This is a private house in a residential area suitable for those looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. We ask guests to respect the neighbours and keep noise at night to a minimum. Parties will not be tolerated.

We are happy to help with tips on the area and as we dont live close by, we have our lovely neighbour who can assist you. This home is our special place and we love sharing it with guests who respect our simple house and come to explore and enjoy the local area. The location is in a quiet residential area and in respect of our neighbours we stress that strictly NO parties or noise at night will be tolerated. If you are planning a celebration with more than the max 6 guests we ask that you consider another property.
