Our cosy cabin sits in a small orchard on our property which is semi-rural and set on the edge of farmland.
We are situated at the entry to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which includes the pretty harbour towns of Anstruther and Crail and is renowned for its many types of crafts. We run a Stitching Studio and Gallery on our premises.
St Andrews is only 14 miles away, Dundee 24 miles and Edinburgh 37 miles. There is a main line station at Kirkcaldy which is 9 miles away.

The space
The cabin is situated approx 50 metres from the main house and is very private. It has a veranda which gets the evening sun and a log burner for those cooler evenings.
We have a small area of woodland behind the cabin.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed with a single upper bunk and there is a comfortable sofa bed in the main living area which can be screened off for privacy.
There is a communal dressing area with hanging space and shelving and a place to store luggage.
We can provide a cot and high chair but please make sure you let us know this is required at the time of booking.
Outside is an area of grassed lawn and a beautiful private patio area solely for the use of guests along with barbecue for outside eating.

Where you’ll be

Fife, Scotland, United Kingdom

Neuk' is the old Scots word for corner, and the East Neuk is the name given to the area of land that runs around the Eastern peninsula of Fife. The delightful East Neuk villages, nestling amongst the natural harbours of the coastline, are testimony to the heritage of sea-fishing that still lives on in the Kingdom of Fife.
We are situated on the edge of farmland and there is a beautiful Farm Shop within walking distance, this is open Monday to Saturday and has a lovely tea room that also serves hot meals. It also has a great butcher.
There are pubs and restaurants in all surrounding villages as well as local food delivery services.
St Andrews is not far away and of course it has everything for the golfer along with the historic university and buildings, the St Andrews Aquarium and a large number of great restaurants.
