Old stone farmhouse 45 km from Rome on the Via Salaria, situated on the slopes of Nerola, medieval village dominated by the fourteenth-century castle of the Orsini.
Built in 1800 and originally operating as a mill has recently been restored as a dwelling on two floors. The first floor, which is accessed by a staircase in masonry or some stone steps, consists of two bedrooms, living room with fireplace, kitchen with electric stove and wood stove topped with hood, bathroom with shower.
The ground floor has been converted into a mini apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
Situated in open countryside, in an area surrounded by fruit trees and an olive grove of 300 acres.
In the immediate vicinity you will find a swimming pool open to the public, cottages and places of historical and cultural interest: Abbey of Farfa, Fara Sabina, Lucus Feroniae, Orvinio and Lucretili Mountains, Monte Libretti, Palombara, Monte Leone Sabino.

Can be reached via:
-The motorway Rome-Florence, exit at Fiano Romano, following the direction Rieti Salaria and taking the crossroads marked Nerola
-Via Salaria, passing Monterotondo call, Corese Terra (up to Passo Corese) and then follow the signs for Nerola.

Sono una storica dell'arte. Scrivo articoli e libri sulla storia e sull'arte del Medioevo. Amo le cose semplici e raffinate. Non potrei abitare in una casa senza libri e senza verde. Mi piace vivere in una grande città ma gradirei che fosse piena di piazze con aiuole, fiori e alberi. Se fossi un architetto invece di pavimentare, cementificare ... porterei la campagna in città.
Ho viaggiato molto. Nel cuore conservo il misticismo dell'Irlanda e i paesaggi della Scozia. Ma le cose più attraenti le ho viste in India, nello Yemen e in Marocco.
