This Victorian gem has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, high ceilings which accommodate a sleeping mezzanine, wooden shutters on the windows, wooden floors , many original features complimented by the owners quirky touches and original artworks. Owned by a theatre designer and artist. We use eco-products. Brixton is one of London’s attractions.

The space
The flat is located in a large victorian house which has three other flats in it. There is a large area with leafy surrounds to the front of the property, which sets it well back from the road. We are fortunate to have some of Brixton”s oldest trees around us. The ground floor flat is accessed by six steps. As you enter the flat and turn left from the corridor you step into the front of the flat, which has an open plan fully equipped kitchen complete with complimentary coffee and teas, coffee grinder, dining area (seats four) situated by the light filled windows. It contains the living room with sofa and two comfortable chairs and has a desk to work at, wifi and TV. Above the kitchen area is a quirky sleeping mezzanine containing two comfy single beds accessed by a sturdy ladder, the beds are arranged end to end with a small chest of draws in between for clothes. Carrying along the corridor to the back is a spacious bedroom with a large double delightfully comfortable Victorian style bed, plenty of storage space for clothes and a small balcony area with plants. To the rear are two blocks of residential flats and you are not overlooked. Back in the corridor there is a utility area. Next to this there is a warm bathroom with large travertine tiles and oak floor which has a large sink, storage baskets and a bath with glass screen and stand in shower. Eco friendly cleaning products are used and we provide eco-friendly body and hand soap. Green recycling bins are by the front gates. We are happy to put your recycling out for you after your stay.

Guest access
The whole flat is yours for the duration of your stay.

Other things to note
We have loved living in this flat and now live in the flat above. We find Brixton to be a friendly place to live, walking around Brixton can be fun and diverse. We have been here for over twenty years. It has become in recent times one of the most popular and sought after areas to both live in and to visit in London. Mondays is the night that the arcades and some eateries close. If you are looking for food, near us is Mama Dough, with GF pizza options too, lovely venue, and delicious Lebanese Mezze Me near Ritzy Cinema.
