The space

Traditional 3 bedroom Victorian apartment in the heart of Glasgow’s west end, directly opposite Hillhead Underground station for ultimate travel convenience. The flat is situated on the second floor of a traditional Glasgow tenement building which is made from sandstone and has sash & casement windows and original pine flooring. sleeps 6 people (it has 3 large double bedrooms), fully modernised but retaining a traditional feel and comes furnished and fully equipped for a short or long stay. The apartment has a living room , which has 2 leather sofa’s , a flatscreen tv with dvd player ( dvd’s supplied) , a large fully equipped kitchen with dining area, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine etc. the bathroom has a traditional feel with original wooden panelling and doweled detailing , but comes with modern appliances ( shower etc ). The flat has a combination gas boiler for heating and constant hot water. The bedrooms are decorated in a luxurious manner and furnished for comfort and enjoyment. There is an enclosed communal rear garden which can be used for relaxing and children playing.

Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum, Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow Botanic Gardens are all within easy walking distance of the apartment. Other nearby attractions include the Riverside Museum and the Glasgow SSE Hydro and The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre which are two of the main venues for the Commonwealth games , as well as venues for major music and theatre events .The area has numerous bars, restaurants, public transport links ( subway, bus, train) providing fast commuter access to Glasgow City Centre (in less than 15 minutes).

Great communication. Very accommodating after we had to leave our original Airbnb rental due to a strong, sickening odour. Glenn's unit was a breath of fresh air by comparison. Great location. The subway is basically at his door step. Wish we would have chosen his place first.

Glenn was helpful and accommodating before and during our stay. The apartment was perfect for 6 of us and we were able to relax in the flat. It's well equipped with everything you could need and the kitchen is well stocked. Not only that, but there were lots of shops and cafes nearby and it's just a short wander from the beautiful botanical gardens. The subway made it very easy to get into town too. A lovely place to stay!

A great base for our time in Glasgow. The location is fantastic as it is so close to transport, restaurants, supermarkets and attractions. Can recommend Kember and Jones for coffee, Cafe Andaluz for tapas and the Riverside Museum. Glenn's place was spacious and well equipped and we appreciated him taking the time to explain how everything works on our arrival.

We absolutely loved staying here - it is a beautiful, spacious flat that feels very special. Glenn was a brilliant host - meeting us at the flat and showing us around - warm and friendly. He even helped carry our cases down at check out! The flat is brilliantly located, right by shops and restaurants, and also walkable to the lovely Botanical Gardens and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Location was perfect, great pubs, shopping, restaurants and places of interest all within a short walk. Subway directly across road The flat itself was spacious, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Everything we needed was there. Glenn was a great host. So helpful and very accommodating I would definitely return. 10/10
