We had a wonderful stay at Janet's place, it is away from the main town but close enough to drive to in about 10mins. The caretaker met us and checked that we had everything we needed! The house itself has everything that you did need for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and quiet and the views in all types of weather are wonderful!

The cottage was clean, dry and warm, though could do with updating. This is less relevant if you are just using it as a base and are out and about a lot most of the time. Nice surroundings and easily accessible to Campbeltown etc (need a car). The caretakers, Mel & Ange are lovely and are on site to help with any concerns or questions. Pleasant stay overall.

We stayed at the MacLeod cottage and it was exactly as described in the listing. The cottages are set in tranquil surroundings, with uninterrupted views of pastures and hills, 2 miles from Campbeltown. While we managed to get around using the local taxi service and public transport (unavailable on Sundays) , the accommodation is perhaps best suited for those with their own vehicles. The caretakers who live on-site are very attentive and helpful. The cottage is an ideal getaway for a quiet holiday in Kintyre.

We try to answer all queries in a few hours. I don't live at the cottages in Scotland, but visit regularly to see to things at the cottages and because I love Kintyre!
