The accommodation is also on the doorstep to an ancient wood filled with thousands of trees and whisperings, rivers and tales and paths which will take you past ravines, cliff-edges and adventures!

The Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast is pure Scottish luxury. The letting area is aptly thought of as the "MacBeth Suite" in recognition of Shakespeare's relationship to the then Thane of Cawdor.

The bathroom houses a bespoke vanity sink, dual entry roll-top bath and a large travertine themed shower, all of which use the same water as our delicious and inspiring whisky!

The suite is perfectly tailored for two adults to enjoy the luxury it holds.

We also have an extra mobile cot bed which can easily be added to the living area to accommodate a group of three adults. We also have cot beds to house families or groups with children.

Such a great experience! Victoria has truly come up with the best layout that isn't just an ordinary B&B! The room is spacious and super clean, the bathroom is (the tub!) so nice and I even loved having sheep right out our window every morning while having our delicious breakfast!

Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast is a HIGHLAND GEM and if you're lucky enough to have stumbled upon this listing, my best advice is to book your stay here ASAP! I don't even know where to begin....the room is just perfect. Victoria and her family are some of the sweetest people we have ever met and we wish they were our neighbors back home! Victoria clearly takes great care in creating a beautiful space for guests. The bed is big and cozy and I wish I could have taken the clawfoot tub home with us!! Victoria also made us beautiful home-cooked (and enormous!) breakfasts each day. We had our own private entrance, which was handy, and we were able to park our car just outside. The town itself is just dreamy. It's the most picturesque little village with a small shop and a cozy tavern (just literally around the corner!) with a nice selection of whisky, good food and a toasty fireplace. The location is perfect, being only a short car ride away from Inverness, Inverness airport, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, the Malt Whisky Trail and the Cairngorms. We only spent three days there but it was my favorite part of our whole UK trip and we're already dreaming of going back!

Hands down the most idyllic, cosy, warm bnb I've ever stayed in. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and were extremely helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Out of our 5 nights travel around Scotland this was our favourite location and accommodation of the trip. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Our stay at the Cawdor Village B&B was great. The beds were very comfortable and our hosts had some good recommendations for dinner and things that we should visit in the area.

Where to begin! Victoria was wonderful, as was the quaint and beautiful village of Cawdor. Everything from a late afternoon greeting, to forest walk recommendations, to a turn-down treat, to a delicious breakfast was absolutely perfect. I stayed here with my parents, and as Victoria mentioned to me, the space was a bit tight for three but completely manageable. Would be perfect and spacious for two! Victoria was lovely to chat to as well, with a great sense of humour! Thanks for having us!

What a lovely little place, the bed was comfy, the bathroom luxurious and we were able to pick breakfast from a list of items. Victoria and her husband were wonderful, cheerful and helpful. I would happily come back and stay her again. We were traveling for 2 weeks with our baby and it was so wonderful that Victoria offered a babysitting service. Our little guy didn't really want to go to sleep after we left but with her experience as a mother of 3 she found a way to settle him and get him to sleep. AND we were able to go out the local pub and have one night out on our trip as couple.
