Clochforbie Yurts have been built in an open location to enjoy the views of the Aberdeenshire countryside from the decking or the spa hot tub.
There is plenty to do in the Banffshire area Macduff Aquarium, The Whisky trail, Castles to visit museums
plenty of parks, swimming pools all within easy reach, only 40 minutes to Aberdeen and Elgin.
We also have the Green Yurt available

The space
The Yurts themselves have a fully fitted kitchen toilet / wet room attached, plenty of decking and grass for kids to run around, area fenced off so very safe.
We have 2 Yurts available an orange and a green Yurt both very comfy for couples or families.
We allow only 3 Adults as there is not enough sleeping capacity for more.
Each Yurt has its own hot tub installed on the deck where you can enjoy the views in total comfort.
The yurts are very warm and cosy with ample space for a family with 2 /3 children or a couple.
There is no sharing of facilities with the adjoining Yurt.

Due to COVID we are taking a lot of extra precautions after every guest leaves all of the bedding, spare fleeces which are on the sofa, the rug, get taken out of the Yurt and are replaced with clean, I leave nothing to chance, All the surfaces and anything that can be cleaned is washed then sprayed with disinfectant. We also empty all the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, everything in them is washed dried and put back into cleaned cupboards and we take away the basket with the tea and coffee etc and replace it too. We do exactly the same in the toilet, towels and the basket, shower curtains, even the toilet brush is taken out and replaced.

We have leaflets available in the yurts for local events
This is a very quite peaceful location, the views are fantastic in the rain or the sunshine.
Brilliant for star gazing from the hot tub in the evening if there is no cloud.

My name is George I am 63 years old, I can turn my hand to anything, I like a project and solving just about anything. I am easy going and love looking after my house, yurts and what little bit of land I have, Isobel my wife enjoys looking after her chickens so we always have plenty fresh eggs to eat in the summer months, She also likes to grow her own vegetables and some fruit in her poly tunnel.

We live quite close to the Yurts so are available to answer any questions guests can call us as they will have the number when they get directions or they can just come to the house as we are always around to help.
