Artsy Woodstock awaits you! Our peaceful cottage has a babbling stream in the back yard, yet is only 5 mins walk away from the village boutiques and cafes. Renovated top to bottom, open living space, AC, beautiful bedrooms and spa-style bathrooms.

Woodstock is an artsy, fun Catskills town. There's always something going on, from music gigs to art exhibits and the weekly summer farm festival. There are two local swimming holes within walking distance of the house, and lots of hiking, biking, climbing and outdoor activities. Fine dining and family restaurants abound.

You can take the Trailways bus to Woodstock and be at our house without a car if desired; it's an easy 5-min walk from the bus stop. Of course, having a car will give more flexibility. We have a 2-car parking bay.

A big thank you from this Philly family. Our first trip to Woodstock and the surrounding area, and we definitely loved it. This place definitely helped make the trip spectacular. Loved lounging in the backyard and having the kids walk the stream. Was great to walk into town for some great dinners and walk to the swimming hole under the bridge. The place is very cute and cozy - all the comforts that we could need. Well appointed, well stocked, felt like home to us!

We stayed at Sarah's house for almost 2 weeks for a family vacation with two kids ages 4 and 6. The pictures don't do it justice! The minute we stepped into the house we were stunned at how beautiful it is - inside and out. You can't say enough good things about the stream that runs at the edge of the property, a few feet from the living room. Our kids spent hours playing there while we enjoyed listening to the calming sounds of running water. The house is so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, some of it with Sarah's own art. The kitchen was fully stocked, we had everything we needed, and we did cook a few meals. Everything was very easy to find, conveniently placed in the most logical location. Our girls enjoyed their bedroom, decorated perfectly for kids. We enjoyed the master bedroom suite, with a gorgeous bathroom, fire place and a comfortable bed. We did not need to use the loft, but our girls did play there with the many cool toys Sarah has up there. The location of this house is another reason to rave about it. It is right in the heart of town, walking distance to everything. There were 2 swimming wholes around, a flea market(on Saturdays and Wednesdays), a cute, but a bit overpriced local grocery store, cafes, restaurants, drum circle...We hiked almost every day on several different hiking trails. There is a Tibetan Monastery about 2 miles up from the house, which is definitely worth visiting if you are drawn to spiritual experiences. Even on the rainy days there was something fun to do. We had the best time and are already planning our next time here!

Streamside living was a new experience for us and it was heavenly! The sound of the water flowing, waking up in the morning and walking right out to the stream, the stunning flowers and hummingbirds--this house is paradise. The house was much larger than we realized and extremely lovely and cozy. With amazing natural light and a vaulted ceiling, the great room is a space we loved spending time. Being able to walk to town and avoid spending time in the car for us was a gift. Sheer perfection all around. Sarah is a fantastic host in every way--thank you. We look forward to many more stays!

Thank you, Samantha! The stream side location and the proximity to town were what made us buy this house, and I'm glad you liked those features as much as we do! You're welcome back any time.

This is a charming home that is comfortable for a small group. There were three of us and it was great! We just loved the back yard and sitting on a rock in the stream! It is very peaceful and beautiful to watch humming birds and just enjoy the scenery. We also loved being walking distance to Woodstock's Tinker street. Woodstock is a fun, funky town and this home fits the experience perfectly. I hope to stay there again sometime. :)

Quaint little stream-side cottage within walking distance of the Village Green in Woodstock. Place has a warm lived-in vibe that puts you in a comfortable / chilled out mood as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommended.

Sarah's house is a little piece of heaven just around the block from Woodstock center. We were so surprised by how sweet it was and the house was extremely comfortable. But the best part is sitting by the stream and just relaxing in her sweet yard. It's wonderful!

We were staying in the area for a wedding and shared this house with another couple who, like us, had a 2.5 year old. It was perfect with a stream in the back yard where we found crawfish with the kids and a wooden train set for them to play with inside when it rained. There is a bakery and -importantly- good coffee a short walk down the road. The kids shared a bedroom with twin beds. I would only mention that one of the two couples bedrooms is lofted and open to the living room and the ceiling is a little low up there. We were a laid back group so not a problem but worth considering. We were very happy with this stay over all.
