Armin was a very welcoming and friendly host. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped and very spacious, with all the mod cons and comforts. The location was ideal for seeing Augsburg and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend Armin as a host and the Bird's Nest as holiday accommodation.

This rental was great! The apartment was so cute and well appointed. It is right by old town Augsburg and such an amazing view. The Host was great about communication and even checked in to ensure all was well when the temperature increased. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived we felt as if were at home. The comforts of everything a person would need, greatly separating it from a stay at a hotel. The views were amazing. Location was perfect for everything from food to shopping. The internet was perfect for all the modern requirements. Armin took the time to explain the Birdsnest and all the views from the many windows. In the evening you can pop the windows open and watch the sunset. I can't think of a better thing. This place is built on pride and not your multi unit AirBNB experience.

We stayed in the Bird's Nest in late July 2017. There were five of us -- me, my wife, and our three kids, the oldest of whom was 8. The apartment is in a great location. It's about a 3 minute walk from an indoor mall with a grocery store, restaurants, a movie theater, and shopping. There are also several playgrounds within easy walking distance. The most historic part of Augsburg -- think narrow streets and Old Europe -- is about a 5 minute walk. So the location really can't be beat. The apartment itself is lovely with amazing views of the city hall. It has four beds and a crib and easily accommodated all of us. The kitchen was well kept and was stocked with wine and beer for a very reasonable fee. The two bathrooms were clean and the bathtub was a godsend after days trekking around Germany. The wifi worked great and the tv had access to Netflix and other streaming services to unwind at night. The only small issue (and it was very small) was that two of the beds are in the attic. The only way to access the attic is to climb a very steep set of stairs -- basically a ladder -- and our kids were a little apprehensive about climbing up and down the ladder at night when they had to use the bathroom. (Both bathrooms are on the main floor.). We solved the problem by having the kids sleep downstairs while my wife and I took one of the beds in the attic. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks, Armin and Martina!
