We booked this studio apartment as a last minute getaway to Liguria and were tempted by the view from the small balcony, which was indeed as the photos show. The view was breathtaking, interrupted only by the passing trains (the line is 50m from the apartment) but this wasn't a massive issue. Indeed, the proximity of the train station is a plus as you can travel directly to Genova or down to Portofino. The photos of the apartment are accurate but slightly misleading given the actual size of the apartment. The building was clearly a hotel in it's heyday and now all of the rooms have been sold off as apartments, which effectively means you have 1 room and a bathroom. The swimming pool downstairs is a great plus point though. The decor is as the photos show and the apartment was reasonably clean. Cooking and dining items were at minimal levels (we only found 2 glasses for example) and the towels provided were very tired, as was the bed linen and pillows. The sleeping arrangements are unworkable for 4 people as the two camp beds don't fit with both open. Both were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were hopeless. Beyond this, communication with Giuliano was always good, however, how to access the property only becomes apparent after booking. In my view, it is totally unacceptable to have to wait outside a gated apartment block for someone to come out to allow access. For this reason alone we would not recommend and I wish I had read all of the reviews of other travellers as this is a common theme. We waited for 25 minutes for someone to exit in 30 degree heat with a 6 year old. Far from ideal and the parking situation is also challenging as there is no parking available inside. Sadly a non-recommend which is the first time ever with airbnb but with a bit of TLC and organisation could be a very nice option for a couple. Didn't feel like great value for money at 130 euros per night although you are probably paying for the view.

Lovely apartment just as described. Beautiful location with sea views. Beautiful promanade to go for nice walks Infront of. There are Cafes, resteraunt and a Little super market all in close walking distance. Genova Nervi train station 2 minute walk from apartment. We will defiantly stay again if we come back.

Lovely location, very nice sea view! The appartment is big enough for 2, I would not recommend staying here with 4 people or for a longer period. Some people are bothered by the trains, we were not. If you are afraid for tiny elevators, I would reconsider. To us, being with two and staying for one night, the apartment was fine.

Really nice location about two minutes walk from the train station. With this, of course, comes the noise of the train that is actually quite audible from inside the apartment. There is a grocery store on the way to the gelateria where you have to pick up the gate card which we used for our dinners (about a 7 min walk). The concierge at the apartment complex was really helpful and spoke English. We realized on our last day that the cafe at the train station has free wifi (providing you buy something of course and really good prices on decent coffee and gelato). This would have been very helpful to know as we rely on wifi for trip planning. The condo was clean and absolutely beautiful view from the balcony of the sea.

I had no idea what to expect having arrived on a dark rainy night. My cabbie dropped me up the street but I felt perfectly safe. Come morning I discovered the spectacular view from the balcony. My morning walk revealed the train station right there and a park, wandering through the park I discovered the sensational sea walk. Heaven!

Amazing view, excellent location, clean place. Only downfall which is also a good thing is the proximity to the train. Good for getting around, but loud.
