Jean's place was very eclectic and different! The hand drawn maps and book of house information were fantastic touches. Nice little place to escape civilization. Just bring some ear plugs to sleep at night, it sure is a popular place for trains rolling on through. Wish we could'v…

Response from Jean:
Yeah. Ear plugs can help, as does shutting the bedroom door. There are earplugs in the bedside dresser drawer. Our village is on the 'main line' across Canada. Rolling, rumbling, and whistling by. But it also means we get a bird's eye view of all the major railway car art and graffiti if one crosses the street and looks over the bank. Thanks for stopping by Matthew, and for your review, and hope you can return some day and explore this wild and dramatic landscape right from the front door.

Very comfy and stylish place, cosy and warm for our winter visit. It's a beautiful area with lots for nature lovers to do, and the village has a nice character too.

An amazing quircky and artistic cabin in a wonderful nature setting. We spent some very cokd Christmas days here and did great hikes, enjoyed the comforts of the cabin and woodstove and loved the trains riding past. We will come back in summer to enjoy the warm weather as well!

We loved the house on the hillside- beautiful surroundings and still very near to the town. We had all we needed- except for enough time to enjoy it!
