I have live in Santa fe for over 16 years. We moved here from Washington state to raise our daughter Castille and get some sun! We live just outside santa fe in the foothills of the Sangre De Cristos mountains where we get the most beautiful sunrises off the horizons. I have been a massage therapist for the past 18 years with a focus of specific deep work and ayurveda massage, I have worked at many of the spas and hotels in Santa Fe, and am a frequent spa and hot springs user. My favorite time of year here is Summer where it's perfectly warm, the flowers are abundant and the evenings require a patio and friends. Winter also brings unique celebrations and yes we do get snow! Christmas is especially different here with the farolitos and luminarias. There is a special walk down canyon road on christmas eve to sing carols, drink hot coco and see all the lights. We have a ski basin with access from right downtown. I love Santa Fe because it's an eclectic spiritual, healing and artistic mecca with inspiring beauty and art both within the city and out in nature. The hiking and day trips around the area are always amazing. One of my favorite hikes to take people on is Tent Rocks where you can see amazing rock formations, or Tesuque if your needing dappled shade and a waterfall. Santa fe has a lot to offer any time of year. It is unique and full of history and culture. All in all, we love our little spot and look forward to sharing it with you.
