This was an absolutely fabulous house in a great location. It's a difficult house to describe as it has to be seen to be believed. Mike has loving restored this 1908 house and furnished it to reflect its history. Every room is a delight, with display cabinets filled with antique …

The house was absolutely lovely. We hugely enjoyed our stay. The fluffy towling robes on the bed were a lovely surprise! Thank you so much.

We loved our stay at Burnie Brae. It is a beautiful, spacious house. We loved the verandahs, gardens, eat in kitchen, large lounge/dining room and double shower. It is an easy walk to the shops and station. We felt very spoilt. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Burnie Brae is a fantastic place! It is exactly as described in the pictures. We weren't in Katoomba for long, but enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. Federal Trail and Great Staircase were hard but doable. Yellow Deli and the Old City Bank are good stops for food.
