(This apartment can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, but larger groups can rent it in combination with another listing steps away - see end of description.)
Completely refurbished in spring 2014, this both super-cozy and highly functional apartment belongs to my brother-in-law who will use it a few days a month when working in Milan.
- two bedrooms, both arrangeable as double or twin bedrooms.
- a living room with a table for 6, a single sofa-bed, two armchairs, a small balcony
- a separate live-in fully equipped kitchen with table for 4
- a full bathroom with walk-in shower
- a storage room.
Ideal for two couples or for a up to five members family group, it's located in a charming 19th century building with a friendly feeling.
All light-washed, whereas the two bedrooms overlook the very spacious and beautiful inner courtyard, the living room and kitchen overlook a silent one-way street, facing a most exquisite low liberty style building.
Fully equipped, it has been furnished and decorated with the utmost care, as a firs residence, with a mixture of restored antique and vintage pieces, and some industrial and modern elements.
Shops, supermarkets, park, transportation, etc are all round the corner, within 5' on foot.
The neighborhood is lively and friendly, 15' on foot on Duomo and 5' from Navigli, full of cafés, restaurants, shops etc, still retaining a very genuine feeling even though in the center of Milan.
Groups larger than 5 could be interested in the fact that the apartment is located less than 100 meters from my own "Charming nest in the heart of Milan" https://www.airbnb.it/rooms/234244 (sleeps 5)
Interaction with guests

Easy going, many friends, independent, lived abroad, always loved having guests and making them comfortable, love reading, cooking, networking, sharing, walking, working, the seaside. Mentally dynamic, I dislike hectic pace. I have always worked in the publishing and cultural sector.
In the past yrs I’ve been very active in the hosts’ community. This entailed managing, following Airbnb’s request, Milan Hosts’ social forum for its entire existence; teaching two seminars at Airbnb headquarters in San Francisco during the first AirbnbOpen - annual worldwide convention - in 2014; participating with other eight European leading hosts in the Dublin HQ in the launch of the new site in 2014; moderating the Q&A session with the three founders in Paris at 2015 Open; hosting one of the three founders, etc. I have been an Airbnb evangelist both privately and in press and tv interviews etc. In short: I love hosting, and am also intellectually passionate about the Airbnb phenomenon, that I find most interesting under very many extents!
