Double room, private shower room and private lounge in a Victorian house with lots of character close to station, beach and shops!
The space (bedroom, private living room and private shower room) is in a beautiful large airy Victorian house in a quiet residential area. It's about a 7-10 minute walk from Hastings station, town centre and beach. It's about 15-20 mins walk to the historic old town and about 20 minutes to trendy St Leonards with its quirky shops and restaurants.
The sports facilities of Falaise, Summerfields and Clambers are all within 10-15mins walk.
The bedroom has a standard double Victorian style bed with a quality mattress, there is also a triple wardrobe to hang your clothes with drawers. Adjacent there is a shower room and also a private lounge for you to relax after you have come back from exploring Hastings. This lounge which has a large comfy sofa and TV has French doors which open up to a patio area and the garden. There is also a kettle and small fridge to cool drinks.
Interaction with guests
There is always something going on in Hastings/St Leonards such as Jack in the Green, St Leonards festival, the seafood festival, music at the Stade, Coastal Currents and Pirates day. There is generally always someone at home and we are always happy to help you and give you tips about the area but equally appreciate that you have probably come to Hastings to 'getaway' and will respect your space and privacy.
Sorry no smoking in the house:)
Please do not bring anyone (i.e friends, colleagues) into the house who is not booked to stay. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further queries.
I've been in Hastings now for nearly 10 years and love it. It's a fun and exciting place to live with lots of interesting people. The town is small enough at times to feel like a village in that you are constantly bumping into people. Prior to Hastings I've lived in London, Amsterdam and Paris, I love travelling and the house does tend to have the odd thing I just couldn't leave behind from trips. I'm very multicultural and love tasting new dishes, world music and cinema.
