Morwenna is a spacious, bright comfortable chalet, having a spacious interior and large outside decking areas in which to relax.
Fully equipped for your stay in one of Devons most popular holiday destinations with its stunning coastline, natural, historic and tourist attractions, it is ideally located in Dawlish Warren. Together with local facilities such as the safe Blue Flag beach, varied water sports, restaurants, bars, funfair & shopping there are many local attractions.

The space
Morwenna is located within the Golden Sands Holiday Park in a quiet and predominately privately owned well kept area of the park with full use of its additional facilities for park holiday makers.

Furnished to a high standard, everything you may need is provided including all bed linen, bathroom towels, beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable with ample storage and fully sprung mattresses.
Interior and exterior dinning spaces are provided for meals and evenings relaxing outside when possible.
The large comfortable lounge has use of a Freeview TV/DVD player (HDMI input available) and a Bluetooth DAB Radio/CD player.

Right on you doorsteps is Dawlish Warren with many local Family Pubs, Supermarket, Shops, Pharmacy and Take-aways. Alongside the pristine Blue Flag Beach is a family Bar/Resturant, Amusement Arcade, Boutique Shops, Go Karts, FunFair and Cafes. There are varied budget options available together with great self catering facilities.

Bike Hire and Water Sport equipment are available for hire for use on the local beach, Estuary and surrounding beautiful area.

The extensive National Nature Reserve and Warren Links Golf course form the remainder of the peninsula. Having 18 of the finest greens in the South West, the Warren is a great links golf course, and also home to an impressive diversity of flora and fauna around the Nature Park.

Devon, also known as Devonshire, it hosts two World Heritage sites (the Jurassic Coast and The Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape) and a Biosphere Reserve in North Devon. With its fantastic coastline, quaint towns and villages, and amazing scenic views it’s an incredibly popular place for holiday visitors, both from the UK and abroad.

Conveniently located from Dawlish Warren there is easy access to the following highlights of Exeter & Museums, Powderham Castle, Babbecombe Model village & Bygones Museum. Torbay - Paighton Zoo, Living Coasts wildlife parks.

Stunning Coastline highlights locally include the River Exe Estuary, Dawlish, Ness Beach in Teignmouth, Babbecombe, Torbay and Blackpool Sands. Water sports available are Sailing, Kayaking, Body and Paddle boarding locally.

Devon Countryside, with two National Parks is one of the most eye-pleasing counties in the UK. The nearby uplands are dominated by the granite of Dartmoor National Park and the sandstones, slates and other sedimentary rocks of Exmoor. The landscape varies with river valleys and plenty of wide open spaces; amazing climbing and hiking is available, along with kayaking. Dartmoor is just over an hour away by car.

Devon cuisine is renowned for its rich clotted cream and very tasty cheeses which is mainly put down to the quality and vitality of the local livestock. The seafood is also highly regarded with the Devon crab in particular gracing many a fine dining eatery. The CrabShack at Teignmouth is a worthy visit.

Devon also has an array of acclaimed restaurants. Many chefs flock to this tourist hotspot to set up their restaurants, so you won’t be short of quality places to eat. The Anchor Inn at Cockwood is a nearby gem.

Also don’t forget to sup a pint of the local "Scrumpy" Cider during your Devon stay. That and a cream tea truly a must!
