Relax as you step through your private entrance into my home's lovely 1500 sq. ft. garden-level space, where you will find a clean, bright, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated getaway. One King and one Queen bedroom accommodate four guests.
Spacious living area has tons of comfy seating, large flat panel HDTV with Apple TV and Netflix, and a dining table that can accommodate four people.
Compact kitchenette has sink, microwave, mini fridge, toaster/convection oven, Keurig coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. Basic utensils, glasses, dishes, table linens, ice bucket, etc. I provide, coffee, tea and cream.
Two bedrooms are cozy and quiet. Beds are comfortable and the quality bedding is always freshly laundered.
Recently remodeled and roomy 3/4 bath (vanity, shower and commode) provides clean fluffy towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, first aid kit, and essential toiletries you may have forgotten, plus a space heater for your comfort.
Laundry Room has large-capacity washer and dryer, utility sink, countertop for folding, and ironing board and iron. I provide all laundry products (please see house rules).
Private patio features fresh Colorado air, covered outdoor seating, gas grill, and an amazing 2-person hot tub.
Enjoy Longmont’s high-speed fiber optic internet service. It is way way faster than regular WiFi, and simplifies coupling of your devices for streaming on the Television.
Ample off-street parking in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood.
I have two wonderful kitties, but they will not be in your space while you visit. However, when I don't have guests, both myself and my cats access the space. I always clean extremely thoroughly between guests, but there may be an occasional cat hair, so please keep that in mind if you have allergies.
Your space is totally separate and private, but I do live upstairs. Although the lower level is quite well acoustically insulated and I am generally quite quiet, you may on occasion hear a squeaky floorboard, water running, one of the kitties talking, etc.
My true wish is for you to feel at home at my home away from your home.
Guests will enjoy entire garden level of home. The second level of home is private living quarters, and is off-limits unless prior arrangements are made. The laundry facilities are on the guest level, so you will have full access. Depending on the length of your stay, I may need access to the laundry (at a time when you are not there or it is otherwise agreeable). The grounds and parking are shared spaces, but I will give you as much privacy as you need.
Interaction with guests
The amount of contact you have is entirely up to you. I am a text or call away should you need anything at all.
Other things to note
Once your reservation is confirmed, I will get in touch with you via Airbnb’s messaging to firm up check-in and any other pertinent details. I have found that communication with guests prior to arrival ensures a trouble-free pleasurable stay.
Check In after 3:00 p.m., Check Out by 11:00 a.m. Although I prefer to personally greet you, schedules don’t always allow for this, so I do provide a lock box for self check in.
PLEASE BE INFORMED: I have an outdoor wireless security camera system on the property. The cameras are motion-activated and will let me know via an app any detected nearby activity. One camera's field of view does cover your private entrance. That camera is easily removable, so please let me know if you would like me to take it down during your stay. My neighborhood is in a desirable part of town, and myself and many here believe security systems are good deterrents to keep our neighborhood safe.
I strive to provide a clean, non-toxic and scent-free space. With that in mind, I ask you please leave your heavily-scented personal products—perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, etc.—at home. I provide unscented laundry products for guest use.
