Welcome to Studio 10! Our guesthouse has 13 private studios apartments. We are within walking distance of the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, and more. An official "Walk Score" of 94 means a car is not necessary. Although our guesthouse is in a very safe residential area right off the main street, we have three RF locks (outside gate, lobby, and room area) and a private key to enter your room. You’ll love the fact that our building is quiet and tranquil for a very nice stay.

STUDIO:
Each of our studios is sunlight-filled, bright spaces. Ample room for couples. Each has its own unique urban feel decorated with red brick and hardwood -like flooring.

BATHROOM:
The bathroom’s best feature is the wide and spacious showers. We pride ourselves on always have hot showers and great water pressure.

BEDROOM AREA:
We love our total blackout shades and we know you will too! Just pull them down and settle in for that long Saturday afternoon snooze. The bed is double-sized and perfect for most sleepers. Not too hard and not too soft.

KITCHEN:
Our kitchen is small but it has everything our guests could need. We supply cleaning sponges, dish detergent, cups, mugs, plates, glasses, cooking, and eating utensils. You’ll also enjoy full-sized refrigerators and arctic blast freezers. We even include a corkscrew in case you’d like to pull the cork on your favorite bottle of wine. Cheers!

AIR CONDITIONING:
The air conditioner is whisper quiet and highly effective. Surely, you’ll appreciate it on those hot Santo Domingo afternoons. All A/C units are controlled by a remote in your room.

Guest access
All our guests have access to the entire building’s common areas. Places like the washing area which is located at the back of the property upstairs. You’ll find a coin-operated heavy duty washer and dryer available to use. You will also have access to the lobby area and the garden-like area just in front of the building. Perfect for a conversation or smoking if you are a smoker.

COVID-19. UPDATE

We are located in the heart of the Zona Universidad (University Zone). This means as you travel through the area you’ll encounter a mostly youthful, and friendly crowd. Especially when school is in session.

We are also within walking distance of international restaurant favorites like; Papa John’s, Dominos, KFC, Wendy’s, McDonald's, Little Caesars Pizza, and many others. And, our favorite for last—Krispy Kreme! The beach is just a 10-minute walk south. It’s not the greatest for swimming but beautiful all the same. The main road running through the city from north to south is Maximo Gomez. Just a short 3 minute walk away.

When you check-in you’ll receive your key from our famed building security and maintenance man, Mr. Bolivar. He gets as many five-star mentions as our places do! You’ll find him friendly and always ready to help in any way he can. The key has a Radio Frequency (RF) fob attached and is used at the outside gate, the lobby door, and at the entrance to the general living quarters. Your private key opens the lock on your studio door.

It’s only a few minutes' walk from the Metro station of Santo Domingo which offers quick access to all major areas of the city.

If you are the shopping type, a short Uber hop to either Acropolis or Blue Mall will set you back only about the equivalent of $3 or $4 USD. The closest supermarket is National and it’s 2 1/2 blocks away. You'll find pharmacies, restaurants, and shopping centers right near the store. Want to unwind to the sounds of the gentle tide? Walk south about 10 minutes and you’ll find yourself on the Malecón (beach boardwalk). Stress just melts away as you enjoy a walk along the breezy coast of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
