The Marigold Suite sits on a secluded top floor of this lovely downtown Colorado Springs home built in 1909. You'll be sure to have a private experience for your stay. Vaulted ceilings and operable skylights make this room bright and spacious. A large screen television is available for your enjoyment. The suite includes a full private bathroom with all the amenities to make you feel at home away from home. Our living room, kitchen, and laundry are also available for your use in our shared space.

The space
The Marigold Suite is the only space on the top floor. It is secluded from the rest of the house, where you will be able to enjoy complete privacy. Bamboo wood floors help keep the area immaculately clean, and the Puffy Lux queen size memory foam bed, with organic cotton sheets, will be one of the most comfortable beds you've had the pleasure of sleeping on. The suite offers a coffee and tea area for your private enjoyment.

The attached bathroom includes a full bathtub and shower. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and premium face cloths are also included.

Guest access
The main floor is available as shared space except for the two rooms that we stay and work in. The kitchen has a gas range, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and all the small appliances needed for cooking and preparing food. There is a coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, KitchenAid mixer, food processor, and even a juicer.

If you'd like to do laundry during your stay, you have access to a modern, front-loading washer and dryer.

Other things to note
The listing is available for three guests, perfect for a couple with a child, or close friends that don't mind sharing the room. Please note that the room is furnished with only one queen sized bed. If you require a second bed, we have a queen size inflatable Intex Durabeam Airbed available for use. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require the extra airbed to be set up, and we will be happy to accommodate.

Additionally, we’d like to introduce the newest member of our family, Mr. Sanders, a young golden doodle puppy. Sanders is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He’s currently in the early stages of training and is learning his manners daily. He stays downstairs, so he won’t have access to the Marigold Suite. While he may occasionally bark or exhibit typical puppy behavior, we’re committed to ensuring he doesn’t disrupt your stay.

Also, if she isn't hiding from view, you may get to meet Ms. Doris, the house cat. Although she typically keeps to herself, she can be available for conversations, love pets, and treats. We do NOT allow her upstairs at all. The Marigold Suite is off-limits to her. This means that we ask you to please keep the bedroom door closed at all times.

Just a few blocks from the Colorado College campus, the house is perfectly located just 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown; far enough to be in the quiet zone, yet close enough for a lovely walk to the center of Colorado Springs or a short Uber/Lyft ride. The central location also makes it very accessible to reach any part of the city easily. The neighbors are friendly and quiet.
