We are mature couple with a friendly dog - Franko. We have been living in Edinburgh for many years and are looking forward to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
Stockbridge is one of Edinburgh's most attractive and vibrant area with many independent bars, coffee shops, and restaurants just 15 min away from our house. Other amenities such as grocery stores, supermarket, post office, bus stops are within very close proximity (5-7 min walk). The city center is easily accessible either by bus (10 min) or by walk (20-30 min). The bus service 8, 23, 27 and 36 runs frequently during the day. The taxi service is usually no more than £7.
Upon your arrival you will receive a set of keys to allow you an independent access to the house. You will also have full access to the large kitchen with all necessary appliances (i.e. cooker, fridge & freezer, kettle, microwave, washing machine etc.) as well as an access to WiFi.
Interaction with guests
In the room you can find many maps, guide books and information booklets, however we are more than happy to give you our best recommendations.
Other things to note
There are free but limited parking spaces in front of the house.
We provide basic toilet items such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and a hand soap.
You are also free to use our selection of teas and coffees.
Check in earlier than 6pm only on request, subject to availability.
Please note that we have a dog (Chocolate Labrador) so if you are not familiar or are afraid of dogs, or allergic, please do not book with us.
Please also note that this is an entirely non-smoking flat (no smoking through the bedroom window too). Should a room need cleaning due to smoking, a charge of £30.00 will be applicable.
Noise to be kept to a minimum between midnight and 6am.
You are given a set of keys for the flat on your arrival. If you lose them there is a charge of £70 in order for the keys and locks to be replaced.
