Traditional tenement flat with private garden and main door access. The flat is only two miles from Glasgow’s city center and barely a stone’s throw from the buzz of Byres Road with its independent shops, and stylish restaurants, bars, delis and cafes.
The flat is situated on a quiet street in the heart of Glasgow's West end. The Botanic Gardens are just around the corner, where it takes 2 minutes to get down to the riverside footpath which takes you to the Kelvingrove Museum in 15 minutes and then most of the way into the City center.
Although there is free on street parking outside the flat, public transport connections are excellent with Hillhead Subway Station (Glasgow's equivalent of the London tube system) less than 2 minutes’ walk away (8 minute transit to/from the city centre). Numerous buses also operate from early until late from a bus stop at the end of the street. And there are always taxis waiting on Byres Road.
The quirky Finnieston area with its excellent independent bars, restaurants and late night cafes, is definitely the new place to be and it’s only a 10 minute walk away.
The lounge is large and bright with timber sash & case windows overlooking the courtyard area, timber floors and chesterfield sofas. The lounge also has an original fireplace with an open fire (fuel provided for the winter nights).
The kitchen has a traditional bay window, a washer, large oven, family sized kitchen table (table comfortably seats 4, but can extend to 6) and a comfy seating area in front of the bay window to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
Off the main hall there is a family bathroom with mains shower and bath. There is a large bookshelf in the hall with plenty to choose from and loads of board games.
The Master bedroom has an Victorian double brass bed, lots of storage and a lovely en-suite bathroom with shower over. Fresh bedding and towels are provided as standard.
The second bedroom is large, has a double bed, timber floors, lots of storage and an original singer sewing machine as the dressing table.
There is a small private courtyard garden to the front of the property, where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun or a glass of wine on the warmer evening’s .The flat is accessed via its own private entrance off the courtyard area. The courtyard is a sun trap in the summer
As I mentioned the apartment is traditional but our style is eclectic. The decor is stylish with a warm, relaxed feel and is very much a home from home. It's certainly not a show home and much of our furniture is vintage/retro so there are some imperfections, but it is a fantastic
enjoyable space in an equally fantastic location. We really do hope you enjoy staying here as much as we enjoy living here!

Glasgow's bustling West End is full of independent retailers, bars, cafes, restaurants, parks, pools and leisure activities. Wide streets, amazing architecture and friendly folk make it a very pleasant place to be.
With a subway station less than 2 minutes’ walk and frequent bus services close by we are well connected with the town centre and other districts.
Other things to note
Ideally we would like our minimum let to be for two nights at least, we are flexible on this, depending on other factors so feel free to ask. You are also welcome to bring well behaved dogs.
