Aire Vue is a HIGHLY RATED two bedroom cottage in the central conservation area of Skipton.

The High Street, Castle, Canal etc are less than 5 minutes walk away.

The house has been recently redecorated and had a new bathroom installed (2024) which includes a walk-in shower as well as a new kitchen (2025).

Aire Vue has quality furniture and fittings. Each bed has an electric blanket to ensure you are warm in the winter months.

The living room has photographs by a local photographer.

New bathroom fitted in 2024 which includes a walk-in shower.

The cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout and fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment - enjoy!

2 bedrooms, 1 Super King, 2 singles all with ample storage and quality anti-allergy bedding.

All beds have electric blankets, great for winter breaks!

Light and airy open plan lounge/dining room with 2 comfy sofas.

A modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.

Other things to note
There is footpath, The Ginnel, at the end of Devonshire Street which leads down to Newmarket Street from where there is easy access to the High Street and the rest of the town centre.

Newmarket Fisheries is an excellent fish and chip shop on Newmarket Street, turn right at the end of The Ginnel, it is on the right.

Aire Vue is less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of Skipton with it’s famous High Street with four day a week market and atmospheric Christmas Markets in December.

At the top of the High Street is Skipton Castle, a complete medieval fortress as well as a footpath to the ancient Skipton Castle Woods.

The town benefits from a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs.

In addition there is the Leeds Liverpool Canal for easy walking or just to sit and enjoy watching the boats passing by.

The area offers plenty of attractions to suit all ages. Enjoy a visit to Bolton Abbey or Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for lovers of steam trains. See the animals at Hesketh Farm Park; visit the Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Farm or further afield the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes. Fine dining is available at Le Bistro Des Amis in Skipton or Burlington at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa at Bolton Abbey.

For those that enjoy outdoor pursuits there are plenty of Cycle Routes or the testing mountain bike trails in the Forest of Bowland. Walkers may enjoy the surrounding countyrside using footpaths from Skipton or those a short drive away in Wharfedale or Malhamdale, where you can climb Malham Cove to enjoy the panoramic views from the Limestone Pavement.

Artists and Photographers have a wealth of stunning scenery to paint or photograph in Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.

Fishing is available at Kilnsey Trout Farm, beween Grassington and Kettlewell, north of Skipton, or for those who like to climb there is Kilnsey Crag to climb after you have caught your Trout!
