Set in the beautiful and largely undiscovered Vallée de Gijou this luxury tiny house is equipped to the very highest standards. All self catering facilities are available, yet as ex-restaurateurs the owners can provide breakfast, lunches/picnics and dinners on order. Nestled in the Haut Languedoc Park between the Southern French town of Castres (40 minutes) and world heritage site of Albi (45 minutes). The region is awash with places to visit and things to do.

The space
No expense has been spared in furnishing this tiny house to the standards of the most exclusive boutique hotel. The ancient bread oven building has been restored with care and respect, recycling and incorporating reclaimed materials where feasible. The bed is made from old beams and recovered planking as are the sills and the table top.
The toiletries are made by Graine de Pastel a regional company that produces beauty products made from woad.
For an added touch we provide homemade honey roasted mixed nuts. The hosts also bake biscotti biscuits to accompany the Nespresso machine and milk frother and tea making facilities - included are coffee pods, loose leaf Assam and a selection of herb teas.
installed are two satellite televisions with Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Be sure of a good nights sleep with the sprung and memory foam mattress combination and anti-allergy down effect duvet.
The shower has a large 90cm cabin with Grohe thermostatic shower and a heated towel rail.
If you are lucky enough to visit during the colder months an you can enjoy the Esse Bakeheart wood burning cooker and unlimited wood.
Because you are here to relax and recharge massage is also available to book, prices start from 20€ for half hour. Accredited Aromatherapist, Swedish Masseur, Sports Injury Masseur and Beauty Therapist.

The Valley of Gijou is set in the Haut Languedoc Park, a region of outstanding natural beauty. The area is renowned for walking, cycling and fishing. Whilst a Little further afield you have the Rochers du Sidobre, the village of Lautrec with its ancient windmill, Woad dying and pink garlic. Why not combine a visit to the historic centre of Albi with its stunning brick built cathedral, museum of Toulouse Lautrec and a tasting of wines in the Gaillac appellation. Alternatively try the famous ham and charcuterie of Lacaune and then on to visit the cheese caves of the world renowned Roquefort. Remember to save a day to laze around in the garden and enjoy the view or in winter snuggle up under a blanket and toast your toes in front of the wood burning stove.
