Inside the hut, you’ll find an electric hob, oven, fridge, and a small Belfast sink for all your cooking needs, along with plenty of tea, and coffee to get you started.

All the essential utensils and crockery are provided. At the end of the hut, there’s a compact bathroom equipped with fresh towels, a hairdryer, a spacious shower, a washbasin, and a flushing toilet.

Throughout the hut, you’ll discover thoughtful touches, including plenty of local recommendations and a handy map for your walks or adventures.

Wake up each morning to breathtaking views of the Gargunnock Hills. You might catch sight of wild deer grazing in the field, hares darting about, or even spot a red squirrel if you’re lucky.

Step straight out of the farm and explore a variety of walking and cycling routes, many of which are child-friendly. Nearby, you can enjoy horse riding, golf, or visits to a local castle or whiskey distillery. Blair Drummond Safari Park and the Smiddy Farm Shop are both within walking distance and come highly recommended.

Walk or cycle straight out of the cabin and you’ve plenty of places to explore on the estate, with cycle routes to follow and fantastic walks through the woods by the river and around the loch. There is plenty to see and an abundance of wildlife to spot.

Why not treat yourself to breakfast in our award winning farm shop and cafe, the Blair Drummond Smiddy, which is just a short walk down the road. Or, purchase an unlimited entry ticket to Blair Drummond Safari Park which is less than a five minute drive away. Hector, your host, works at the safari park and both him and his wife Liz can offer plenty of tips on what to see and do.

Locally you’ll also find opportunities to go horse riding, play golf or visit either Doune or Stirling Castle or Deanston Distillery. You're also a short drive away from the Trossachs National Park with all of its fantastic walks, cycles, mountains and lochs to explore.

There are also plenty of good restaurants and pubs locally serving a wide range of food.

Both of us are keen travellers and think that it's really important to see the world from a local's perspective and hence love the concept of Airbnb.
