Logger's Loft, a cosy attic-studio, has a neat kitchenette, hardwood floors, glass-walled bathroom and a private deck overlooking the garden. It faces eastwards to the historical Tsitsikamma Village Inn and forms part of the adventure epicentre that is Storms River.

Logger's Loft is a strictly non-smoking unit.

The separate homestead, lovingly restored in 1989, was originally built in 1925 of stone and mud. It is sure to have housed many a woodcutter back in the logging days.

The space
King-sized bed, draped with down duvets and pillows. TV and wi-fi. A portable braai is available to use on your private deck overlooking the garden, or you can make use of the communal braai area under the deck. There is secure parking behind electric gates. This is strictly a non-smoking unit.

Where you’ll be

Stormsrivier, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Just east of the entrance to Storms River Village from the N2, a 500m wooden boardwalk through the indigenous forest leads to the Big Tree. The Yellowwood giant is estimated to be ±800 years old; it stands 36.6 metres high and has a circumference of almost 9 metres. Hire a Segway for an informative trip through the indigenous forests or on another tangent you can enjoy the dulcet tones of Elvis as you tuck into your meal at Marilyn's Diner!

I like to think I am a friendly, happy person - at least that is how I feel every day! My first love is my family and pets. I am genuinely concerned about the environment and conserving all living things - from tiny insects to giant whales!
Nature and all things green and growing are my passion.
I also love travel, movies, music and fresh - mostly organic food!
Not really a fan of big cities, which is why I live and work from the beautiful Tsitsikamma.
My guests are very important to me and I strive to give them a memorable experience without being in their faces!
My life motto has always been "You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give"
