Whip up your new and favorite recipes on a six-burner gas stove, convection/conventional oven, built-in warming tray, microwave, food-processor, Kitchen Aide mixer, blender, outdoor grilling (charcoal), rice cooker, ice cream maker, pasta machine, fish poacher, etc ...the house comes equipped with most any cooking device you can imagine! There is prep space for 3-4 people, a large marble-topped island with pub-height seating for four, and a finely tooled formal oak table that expands to seat everyone! (Check-list provided to guest to ensure that all requested cooking tools are made available during rental period.)
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION (ROOMS, BEDS, & BATHROOMS): This property has THREE floors. The Top Floor has two full bedrooms (queen & double beds), a vaulted ceiling double master bath with two sinks, shower, & tub. The Middle Floor is accessed from the main entryway off of the front deck overlooking the water & mountains. Middle Floor has a very large living, dining, and kitchen. There is a powder room on the Middle Floor. The living room on the Middle Floor offers two extra large/long linen sofas for additional sleeping options. Finally, the Bottom Floor has two (2) separate living quarters which provide additional open space & privacy The living quarters are separated by French doors and a hallway. The larger living space is an apartment-like area with up to three queen beds. There are additional three (3) twin beds available upon request. This apartment also has a living, dining, and kitchenette areas, and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The apartment can sleep up to ten adults. As mentioned above, the Bottom Floor a separate bedroom with a flat screen TV with cable. Perfect for a couple who wants privacy.
RELAXING COURTYARD & INTIMATE BACKYARD - This property is beautifully landscaped for privacy. A 6-foot tall fence and 15 to 18 foot tall trees and a huge dogwood tree surrounded by hand-laid flagstone path welcomes travelers & offers tranquility. There is a large hand-poured patio, two outdoor tables to seat guests and, available upon request, a BBQ grill (charcoal) perfect the outdoor experience.
QUALITY AMENITIES - All bedrooms feature beds with quality mattresses and pads, linens, sitting area, dressers, hanging rack and/or closet with organizers. The Middle and Bottom living areas have flat screens with cable (HBO, Showtime, Encore, and 100+ cable TV channels), as well as high-speed wi-fi. A Front-load washer & dryer with an iron and board are provided on top floor. The home is stocked with games for ages 1 to 99, toddler toys, sporting equipment (please inquire for specifics), magazines, and dozens of books.
EASY, FREE PARKING & CLOSE TO EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO SEE AND DO - On street parking is free and readily available and the bus stops 20 feet from the front door for quick and easy freeway and Metro bus access to your destinations (Pike Place Mkt., Space Needle, Seattle Center, Museums, restaurants, Nordstrom, Barneys, Macys, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Space Needle/IMAX/3D Cinemas, museums, stadiums, theater, Woodland Park Zoo, Bathhouse Theater, and South Lake Union (Amazon & Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center). 15 minutes to University of Washington campus, UW Hospital and Medical Center, and Northgate Mall. 20 minutes to Boeing and Microsoft Headquarters. Within a quarter to half-mile radius from four (4) grocery stores and a Pharmacy. Guests are less than a ½ mile from the best (kept secret) seafood store in Seattle (your Home Manual holds the details)!
REFUNDS - See Airbnb website. Refunds are given at the discretion of the Host and only if dates can be re-booked. Guest refund will be less any difference in the rental rate, transaction fees incurred by Host, and $175 processing fee.

MINUTES TO DOWNTOWN
Downtown Seattle (Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and zillions of other fun things to do) are available by bus or car within 10-15 minutes of your doorstep. Football stadiums (15 minutes), skiing (45 min to 2 hours depending on where you want to ski). While at the property surround yourself with the beauty of the Puget Sound & Olympic Mtn's from the front deck. the neighborhood (Magnolia) is a quiet, five-star neighborhood with all amenities available within a 1 mile radius (fine & casual dining, spas, massage, shopping, and recreation are all within 5 minutes in the neighborhood).
Downtown Seattle & South Lake Union ("Amazon-ville") are 10 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bus. Sports stadiums are 15 minutes by car; 30 minutes by bus. Free parking at the property; up to 4 cars permitted. Bus line stop across street from house. Uber & other car ride options are ready and eager to assist you with your travel needs as well.

RATE INFORMATION - Please feel free to inquire about weekly rates, shorter stays (less than the minimum number of days), and requests to change check-in/check-out times. Host attempts to accommodate all requests.
AIRBNB SPECIAL OFFERS - Guests may request or receive from Owner a custom quote based upon the time of year, size of group, length of stay, and gaps in the calendar. Owner will respond with an "Airbnb Special Offer" which includes everything (nightly rate, cleaning fee, tax etc.) except the Airbnb Booking Fees which is paid to Airbnb.
CHILD FRIENDLY - Guest is required to include the exact number of people (including young children) when contacting Host. Host may have available upon request: pack-and-play with mattress and sheets, highchair, art supplies, books, strollers, scooters, trikes, & toys. The lower floor apartment is a good sleeping choice for adults with younger children because it has French doors which can be shut for safety/privacy while still allowing the little ones room to play (or sleep undisturbed).
PETS ALLOWED WITH HOST APPROVAL - Dogs are permitted with written (email through Airbnb) approval from Host. Guest's inquiry to Host must include the age, breed, and size of Guest's dog. Host charges a modest, one-time, pet fee which is not included in the stated rental fee.
EVENTS - Events are permitted with written (email through Airbnb) approval from Host. Host reserves the right to charge an Event Fee. Smaller events and/or longer rental periods may not incur any Event Fee.

NOTICE: By confirming your reservation on the Airbnb website you are also confirming you have read the description of the property and accept the terms and conditions of the Airbnb cancellation policy and house guidelines and policies. A House Guide Book can be emailed to Reserving Guest within 1 week to 12 hours before check-in - depending on incoming guest specific request, if any, incoming guest's arrival time, and outgoing guest check-out date. Please let Host know if you desire to have the Manual sent to you on a specific date ahead of your arrival. Guests ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING the Manual upon receipt or check-in (whichever comes first). RESERVING GUEST is responsible for ensuring all other guests are familiar with the House Guide Book and its guidelines.
HOUSE KEY is either given to guest upon check-in or located in a lock box and the code sent to Reserving Guest within a few hours of arrival. Reserving Guest is required to check-in and REMAIN on premises unless other arrangements are made and approved by Host. All reservations must be booked by a person 18 years of age or older. Valid, government issued identification for EACH GUEST is required at or before check-in. Guests younger than 18 years of age must have an adult with them while on the property at all times. Keep the neighbors happy. No smoking anywhere except at the fire pit located in the backyard and clean area afterward. No open flames, candles, incense, heating devices, or non-prescribed drugs ANYWHERE on premises - inside or outside. Three (3) twin-size beds available upon request. Please alert Owner of any schedule and/or accommodation requests and/or changes as soon as possible. Happy travels!
