Our light and spacious apartment is conveniently located in the historic fishing village of Newlyn. A perfect place to stay if you are attending the Newlyn School of Art. Amazing views of Mounts Bay, St Michael's Mount and Newlyn Fish Quay can be enjoyed from this top floor accommodation. Perfect for a holiday exploring West Penwith or a sanctuary to come and work for a few days.

The space
The accommodation is located in a beautiful victorian granite terrace. Enter the property through a courtyard garden into a spacious lobby. The studio apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is furnished to a very high standard. Whilst the apartment is primarily for two people, the sofa bed converts to a large comfortable bed which can be used upon request for either a third guest or 2 single people. There is a well equipped kitchen area with a cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided including a cafetiere and fresh coffee. A welcome pack is also provided for each set of guests.
The view from the front window is second to none and will make you want to come back time and again - as indeed many of our guests do so!

Guests have their own patio garden with seating and table. The apartment is completely self contained with its own kitchen and bathroom with a power shower. There is Wifi connection and a TV with free view.

Other things to note
There are steps leading to the property and we do live on a hill. Due to the amount of steps it is not suitable for wheelchair access.

Neighbourhood highlights

Newlyn lies on a much loved stretch of coast between Lands End and Lizard Point, with sandy coves for relaxing and the inspiring coastal path for exploring. Its unique character lies as much in its history as a vital fishing village as it does as an artists' colony and the home of the famous Newlyn School of artists. Newlyn is beautifully sited for exploring the glorious landscape of Penwith. The coastal walk from Newlyn to Lamorna Cove via Mousehole is wonderful, with traditional Cornish pubs en route including the Old Coastguard at Mousehole. The field walk to Paul with a drink at the Kings Arms and return by the coastal path makes for a pleasant evening stroll. For the truly adventurous there are moorland walks that take in the remarkable ancient archaeological sites; perhaps the Merry Maidens near St Buryans or Karneuny settlement with its well preserved fogou at Sancreed. There are guides and maps at the apartment for you to plan and enjoy excursions.
