Interaction with guests

We enjoy having company in our house and are looking forward to meeting you. As born, raised and everything in Amsterdam, we know everything there is to know about the city. It is our pleasure to provide more details on the Dutch culture, do's and don'ts, musts and nice haves and much more. You'll tell us more about the purpose of your stay and we'll make sure you'll have all the information you need.

Also, we'd love you to not only use the room, but the entire house. It is our pleasure to sit down and get to know you. We open our home, because we love meeting new and inspiring people from abroad.

Other things to note

Dina-Perla Loges has the old and steep stairs you could expect in Amsterdam.

Dina-Perla and her husband's house is a very beautiful, old home. It looks just like the pictures. You really feel as though you're staying in an authentic Dutch home and neighbourhood. The stairs are very steep, as would be expected in an old house like this, but you get used to climbing them rather quickly and they're very cool. The beds were comfortable and clean. There is some street noise but I didn't find it to be a problem at all. I slept with earplugs, but my friend didn't. Their pets wander around the house and they're both really friendly and cute... so can be a bonus or a con depending on if you like cats and small dogs. The home is an ideal and convenient location with loads of museums, restaurants, and a metro stop all within a 5 minute walking radius. We even found the walk from the flat to the central very enjoyable and scenic. I would highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a more personal experience than a hotel but still want a great location. Both hosts were kind and accommodating! We'd stay here again.

My stay was lovely and my hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I was only there for business, but can imagine if I was in Amsterdam on holiday for the first time they would be very good at recommending places to go and things to see. Also nice if you like dogs and cats! Alex
