Lochside Apartment is a beautiful, self-contained 2-level penthouse maisonette with stunning views over Loch Katrine in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The Apartment is on the top two floors of Lochside House, built in 1900 and recently modernised. Perfect for family gatherings, yoga retreats, running holidays, or just to get away from the hurly burly. Bookable with Lochside House or separately.

The space
The stunning views from Lochside Apartment extend over the Loch on two sides giving our guests the opportunity to watch the ever-changing skies from sunrise to dusk.

The Apartment has three bedrooms (2 twin, 1 double ensuite) and the top floor with the newly refurbished kitchen and living room has magnificent views down Loch Katrine. The two bathrooms are also newly refurbished, with walk-in showers and stunning stone tiling.

The Apartment can be booked on its own or together with 5-bedroom Lochside House (sleeps 10), to which there is an internal interconnecting door. The door is kept locked if the properties are not booked together.

Guest access
Guests have full exclusive use of the property. The car parking area is accessed via the area in front of Lochside House.

Guests should note that there are three sets of stairs up to the apartment.

Neighbourhood highlights

The apartment is located just near to the pier on Loch Katrine where the Sir Walter Scott paddle steamer calls in every day during the summer. The cafe on the pier does wonderful light food and refreshments, and there are other good eateries a little drive away. It's only about 4 miles to the east side of Loch Lomond, where you can catch a ferry to the other side and explore further afield.
