Yoder's inn is conveniently located in Meyersdale and is an easy downhill ride from the bike trail. We arrived a little later than anticipated, but Denise was waiting for us and immediately showed us around the kitchen and common areas then took us to our room. We stayed in the Maple Queen room which was very nice, clean, comfortable and was perfect for our short stay. We forgot to bring shampoo, but thankfully Denise had a bottle left by an earlier guest. After biking all day, we really needed a shower. We didn't stay for the continental breakfast, so we can't comment. We were very pleased and appreciate having been able to stay the night. Thanks!

We were pleasantly greeted by Denise for a quick rundown of the room and house. We also contacted the hosts earlier to let them know we were checking In a little later than anticipated and we appreciated their patience and understanding. Everything was very clean and neat and exactly as described in pictures and reviews.

We loved our experience at Yoder's Motel. Easy and private in and out, clean room, and unexpected continental breakfast made for a great stop off the GAP trail in Meyersdale. Thanks Denise! Hope to see you on our next trip through.

We are from a suburb of Philadelphia but have always enjoyed the Meyersdale area. My father's (Rabbit) family had a hunting cabin in the area that I always loved visiting as a boy and young adult. I remember good times in a quiet setting without all of the crazy, busy city life.
As a married couple with a business we looked forward to long quiet weekends to recharge without being disturbed by the business phone. It became a place to enjoy conversation and listen to music more than watching tv or other advanced technology. This was the genesis of Rabbit's Run.
Two years ago the house next to the cabin became available and we decided to purchase it. We added on to the home so it could be large enough to host family and Friends. The past two years have been very fulfilling.
We also realized that the area was lacking affordable, quiet and clean lodging. We have always enjoyed entertaining in our home so the decision to open our home to the family style lodging was an easy one.
Our hosting philosophy is to make our guests feel at home while respecting their privacy. Our home is large enough to have several communal areas yet offer areas to escape.
We also own Yoder's Motel in the town of Meyersdale. It is just a few blocks away from the Great Allegheny Passage, restaurants and bars.
