We had the pleasure of staying a week at the beautifully and thoughtfully restored Finca Luna. Once a farmhouse, Finca now consists of two units; despite the other one was also occupied during our stay, we could hardly hear our neighbours. The finca is brilliantly localised - it seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but not really, as neighbouring town of Teguise is conveniently located just 5 minutes away by car. Other than that, the place is secluded. There is nothing but the dessert around, closed off by singular mountains here and there, and the sea. The house itself has been restored with a lot of love and thought: the kitchen still has the farm feeling, despite the update; the bedroom is spacious and quiet, with a window overlooking the back of the house; the bathroom has been upgraded to reflect the typical Lanzarote vibe, with a skylight allowing you to shower in the sun. Above the entrance and on the way to the terrace, there is a little mezzanine, which can act as a full functioning second bedroom, once the curtains are closed. And finally, the terrazza - large enough to fit two wooden lounge chairs, two regular ones, a matching table and several pots with cacti. This is where your relaxation, our book-reading and your dinners and breakfasts will happen. The views are incredible, interrupted by nothing but a single palm tree. If you however, wanted something more hidden, fear not - there is a little shaded nook by the entrance and by the kitchen window for a little less exposed dining. In the salon, there is a tv with basic cable channels, books in Spanish, English and German, some magazines, and two volumes of quest books, filled with warm thoughts by previous, happy tenants. Plus, of course, your basic airbnb gear: maps, infos and guides. Christiane herself proved to be a helpful and responsive host, one of the best we have encountered on our airbnb trips. It's clear she consistently puts a lot of love into the finca. We appreciate that greatly, and will surely come back. At this point, it's impossible to think of coming back to Lanzarote, and staying anywhere else but Finca Luna.

Christiane is a very kind hostess and she quickly responded to various questions and requests during our stay. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures – it is a delight. The weather turned out to be excepcionally cold (for Lanzarote) while we were there, but Christiane had a mobile heater that kept us warm. The countryside house is magical and well kept, down to every detail. We had a great stay and would always recommend Finca Luna.

We spent 6 days of our summer vacation in Finca Luna and there's no better place in the island! The charming views from the terrace are the best thing you can enjoy while having breakfast in the morning. You can chill without hearing any traffic noises or breathing polluted air. The house is located away from the tourist bustle, although Lanzarote isn't an island full of visitors, at least in July. Dealing with Christiane was easy! She was very attentive throughout our stay. We arrived at midnight and she was in Germany but Melchior, a trusted person of her who knows the way the house works received us and explained everything about it. We would definitely recommend Finca Luna if you want to enjoy Lanzarote in a calmly way!

We had a lovely week in Finca Luna. The house is spacious en nicely decorated. It has a big living kitchen and two terraces, one downstairs with a nice garden and on the roof, with a beautiful view on the ocean . The house is situated next to a small barranca, so you can see and hear lots of birds. The house is easy to access and is nearby Tequise, which has lovely restaurants. We would surely like to come back some day!
