The B&B is in an attractive area with countryside walks in the surroundings. Helen was a welcoming and generous host. A hearty breakfast was provided in the morning and the main B&B communal areas were very pleasant. Unfortunately, we were given the 'self-catering' house instead of room in the main building. In hindsight we should have refused this accommodation. The house was dirty except the bed linen, towels and bathroom. We could not have used it for self-catering. The hot plates on the cooker were rusted away and there was little in the way of utensils etc. Nevertheless, Helen was very friendly and made recommendations for places to eat and visit. Our daughter loved Helen's golden retriever, which has a delightful temperament.

Helen was an absolutely wonderful host. She was not only very welcoming, but also very hospitable. When we brought sausages back, she went the extra mile to fry them for us. Breakfast was also plentiful with a spread of bacon, eggs and toast. Her bed was also equipped with an electric blanket. While the facilities may seem pretty old for that price it's a good deal and I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

Good value. I had one day/night staying at Hillview was a peaceful stay. Had a very good vibe to the place and Helen who made me feel at home, the big cuddly looking dog outside and relaxing reception room all added to that. I was wrecked and went for an hour's nap in the evening and when I woke up was morning. So the bed was definitely comfy. Only had time to drive around Silvermines ( Hillview only stone's throw from the main street) but can imagine it would be a beautiful place to spend more time in the summer/autumn with and handy with Nenagh about 10 mins drive away Easily recommended

Helen was extremely welcoming and hospitable throughout. Nice location, very traditional house & service. Unfortunately no Wifi when I was there, however I think this is being addressed. Good value nonetheless.

We stayed for 3 nights and were made to feel very welcome from the start. This was an ideal location for us as we were visiting family who were very local. The breakfast was lovely and Helen and Pat were delightful. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the views were beautiful. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

First rate Irish welcome . Exceeded expectations in all ways. The village has a characterful pub , shop and church, together with beautiful hills to walk in. Nenagh is close by and its golf course is most welcoming.

We had a great time at Silvermines Hill View B&B. Helen is very kind and gave practical information. We had a good time in the pub at the end of the street and a nice walk with amazing views the day after. We would easily stay here again.
