Lovely view on the valley, sweet relax in the smelling garden under a very old tree tasting a good wine and then to visit Firenze, Pisa, Siena only 30 km far from here and medieval castles, little churchs ,winery, across the beautiful Chianti road.....

The space

With views of the countryside of the Chianti hills, in Montespertoli, a small village 25 km from Florence, I offer this house is a barn recently restored and very comfortable, comprising: two beautiful bedrooms (one double and one triple) two bathrooms ( only one with shower) a large kitchen with fireplace and a colorful and fragrant garden all around for wonderful breakfasts and dinners.

The house is equipped with tv/sky, telephone, internet wifi, washing machine, oven and private parking.

It 's an excellent place for hiking in the area: you can visit ancient castles and medieval towns (San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra. .. the heart of Chianti), the great wine farms where to taste wine and the other special local products, the wonderful cities Pisa and Siena are only 40 km away from here, and finally the magic Florence really easy to reach in 30 minutes by car or train.

The train station is at 13 km far from here with quick and frequent connections with the cities.
The bus station is at 1,5 km far , in the village's square.

The price is for a night all the entire house :two bedrooms , two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen/dining room, a nice garden!!
For a person more there is a little extra of 20 euro a night.

It's possible reserve dinner if you ask with special local food hand made and wine!!

I live at the second floor of the house and it will be a pleasure for me give you all the informations and suggestions about the territory around (wine-festival ,concerts, events, itineraries…) that you’ll need to enjoy in Tuscany.

In a space of the garden there are my two dogs, Jack and Rose, really quiet and sociable animal :they live in their enclousure .

The territory that stretches from Val di Pesa, Val d'Elsa is inhabited by many Florentines who come to live in this country, because it is relatively close to the city, and at the same time allows to live away from urban pollution! Tourism also is mainly linked to numerous farms in the area that offer good food, great wine and great views.

We had such a lovely time at Antonella's house. It is so beautiful, the view outside is amazing and great for al fresco dining. The place was great and very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay there. Antonella is a great host and I would definitely recommend her gorgeous house to stay. It might be worth adding that if going in summer, make sure to take lots of mosquito repellent!

Anotonella made us feel very welcome in her beautiful Tuscan farm house with awesome views of the Chianti hills. The house had every amenity we required and Antonella provided us with all the assistance we needed. Access to Florence, Siena and the coast is easy either by a short car drive to Empoli railway station or by car. A special treat for us was spending time with lovely Rose the dog.

Lovely comfortable home in a beautiful setting only minutes from the welcoming village of Montespertoli. Antonella is a very warm and helpful host. Highly recommend having Antonnella cook as she is very skilled and uses the best of Italian produce using recipes handed down to her.

A beautiful, comfortable and spacious house. Beautifully decorated and with everything you could need and surrounded by the rolling Tuscan hills. Antonella made my family feel very welcome as did her cat and dog who were lovely. There was plenty of useful information about what to do and where to go, including a rather good and very quiet outdoor swimming pool about 20 minutes away-perfect for my daughters one hot afternoon. We also very much enjoyed the dinner Antonella made for us which she offers for an additional charge. We also liked the little bar/deli/biscotti seller (alimentari) on the right on the road into town (Montespertoli) which was very friendly and laidback. All in all a lovely stay.

Antonella met us and made us feel right at home. The villa was beautiful and fully functioning as a home. Magazines, books and CDs were available, and BBQ on the patio whilst overlooking the Tuscan hills and drinking Chianti are my fondest memories. We would have no hesitation in returning again. Only one word of warning – watch out for the mozzies – they are on steroids! It is a great location as a base for touring the region. We speak very little Italian but Antonella helped us out. Excellent visit and we took many fond memories home with us. THANK YOU ANDREW

We were late arriving at Antonella's house after a long afternoon of travelling. She had cooked us (by arrangement) a fabulous meal which she served in the garden. Combined with her kind and trusting personality, this was a lovely warm welcome to our holiday. The house was beautifully decorated, as you will see in the photos. It was very clean, and the towels and bed linen provided were new and clean. Everything there was to a very high standard. We had opted to rent the 2 lower floors of Antonella's home for a few days. She generously provided some items for us (eg milk, bread etc) to help us ease ourselves into our holiday. She also provided a wealth of information on tourist destinations and restaurants in the area. Her home is a 3 floor, semi-detached house, with magnificent views across the valley. It is on the outskirts of Montespertoli, with other houses in the general vicinity. Please note that if you opt to rent the lower floors like we did that Antonella will still need to exit her apartment (on the top floor) using the shared staircase and outer door, although we only ever bumped in to her (rarely) in the garden, (she carefully tried to keep out of our way to give us privacy). We enjoyed meeting her 2 lovely dogs and a cat! We would have no doubt in recommending Antonella and her lovely home, and would love to return.
