Very clean and quiet. They expertly helped us to get our bikes stowed and us settled down after a long day of riding the GAP. Restaurants are walking distance. The train tracks are pretty close but I never actually heard a train. Breakfast was well stocked and a generous continental.

Denise was awesome, helped me get out of the rain and situated quickly after a 60 mile ride on the GAP. Absolutely perfect place to stay if you're doing a ride on the GAP and C&O. Best stay of my trip. :)

The place was quiet and welcoming. Everything was really clean and helped us relaxing after a really tired day. It was my firat airbnb experience and it was a pleasant one. I would recommend this place if you are stopping by before heading to fallingwater. :) Thank you!

Denise and Charlie's Yoder's Sand Patch room was clean, cool and welcoming after a day on the GAP trail. Water, snacks, coffee/tea and delicous homemade goodies were available upon arrival. Covered and locked bike storage along with access to a bike wash, pump and tool box made this a great choice for GAP cyclists and the inclusion of a full continential breakfast was perfect.

Denise was very welcoming. She provided a large bedroom, adjoining sitting area and bath. In the morning we found a fine self serve breakfast with fruit, juice, toast/bagels and beverages. We especially appreciated her information about the area and took advantage of it the following morning before we left. The historic museum with railroad lore was a definite worthwhile stop. and we especially enjoyed it!

The home and our room were very clean. Denise was very welcoming and provided relevant information about the area, places to eat, visit, etc. Continental bfast had a nice assortment of bagels, fruit, oatmeal, keurig coffee machine, 4 cold cereals, zucchini bread. I would stay again! Room had towels and soap supplied, beds were clean and comfortable. Common spaces clean, plenty of area to sit and relax. The front porch is large and a great place to read a book!

We are from a suburb of Philadelphia but have always enjoyed the Meyersdale area. My father's (Rabbit) family had a hunting cabin in the area that I always loved visiting as a boy and young adult. I remember good times in a quiet setting without all of the crazy, busy city life.
As a married couple with a business we looked forward to long quiet weekends to recharge without being disturbed by the business phone. It became a place to enjoy conversation and listen to music more than watching tv or other advanced technology. This was the genesis of Rabbit's Run.
Two years ago the house next to the cabin became available and we decided to purchase it. We added on to the home so it could be large enough to host family and Friends. The past two years have been very fulfilling.
We also realized that the area was lacking affordable, quiet and clean lodging. We have always enjoyed entertaining in our home so the decision to open our home to the family style lodging was an easy one.
Our hosting philosophy is to make our guests feel at home while respecting their privacy. Our home is large enough to have several communal areas yet offer areas to escape.
We also own Yoder's Motel in the town of Meyersdale. It is just a few blocks away from the Great Allegheny Passage, restaurants and bars.
