Beautiful and walkable

Guests say this area is scenic and it’s easy to get around.
Welcome to Timbers! This former family home has been beautifully refurbished and maintained to the highest standards, set in the heart of the New Forest. Timbers is light and spacious and offers a comfortable and relaxing retreat which is ideal for family gatherings and celebrations. Sorry, no hen or stag parties.
The house is just a short walk from the centre of the village, which is well served with shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.

The space
The hub of the house is the large kitchen, which has a gas hob and two electric ovens, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is a water softener system for all water apart from the kitchen cold water tap. The farmhouse style table will seat 10 comfortably and a high chair is available. A wall of folding patio doors leads onto the patio, with an outdoor dining area and a large garden surrounds the whole property. There is a BBQ available for your use( in the garage), and the decking at the front of the house is the perfect spot to relax in the sun - an ideal way to spend a sunny afternoon.

The lounge is a large, welcoming room overlooking both front and back gardens, with three comfy sofas, a rocking chair and armchair and a large flat-screen TV

There is a second reception room with more comfortable seating and views over the garden.

The mud room by the back door has a washing machine and drier, drying rack, and plenty of space to shed your coats and boots after a lovely forest walk or bike ride.

There is ample parking for several cars on the driveway, and a garage which is perfect for storing any bikes you might bring or hire from the village whilst you are staying.
There is an EV charger which can be used with prior arrangement

All of the 5 bedrooms have plenty of natural light and comfortable beds. Each has an individual theme and all have mirrors and clothes storage.

The large bathroom has a big walk-in shower as well as a free-standing tub, perfect for a luxurious soak at the end of the day. The shower room also boasts a large walk-in shower, and there is a separate downstairs toilet (making three in total).
