I stayed at Elisa's place for four nights. The apartment itself was absolutely great. It was very clean and comfortable and in a perfect location for someone wanting to be in the LES. Elisa was both very friendly and helpful. I arrived late in the evening and she made it very easy for me to get the key. She made it clear that she was available if I had any concerns or needed anything for the apartment but everything was perfect so I didn't need to contact her during the stay. If you're looking to stay in the LES I couldn't recommend the place enough. It's a great apartment, Elisa is both very friendly and professional, and the location is perfect.

It was a perfect stay at Elisa's apartment. The place is wonderful and also wunderfully located. Getting and dropping the keys was most uncomplicated as it is being handled by a small agency right next door. I didn't meet Elisa in person, but our communicating was pleasent and easy-going, and her preparations for my visit were excellent. I hope to be able to stay at her apartment again one time.

Had a wonderful experience with this apartment and with the host. The place is really huge (especially by NY standards) and comfortable. Added bonus is the washer/dryer, even though hooking it up was quite an adventure. The kitchen does not include a microwave or a toaster which was a bit of a bummer, but no big deal. The main drawbacks to this apartment is that it is a 3rd floor walkup and since the building is old, so is the plumbing. Before you take a shower, check that there is hot water - I ended up taking 2 cold showers during my stay. The neighborhood is also fantastic and both the subway as well as bus stations are nearby. While the apartment is quite clean, the building is not so be prepared to see some roaches, but this is true for most NYC places. All in all, highly recommended.

I loved staying at Elisa's place. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the LES. The apartment has so much charm and character, decorated in a cool, eclectic shabby chic vibe. The apartment is even more spacious than it looks in the pics, with ample space in the bed/lounge areas and plenty of wardrobe space. The place is on the older side and third floor with no elevator so if you're looking for luxury this isn't for you. Bonus that there is a washer/dryer. It was perfect for what I was wanting though, and Elisa's communication throughout my stay was excellent. Awesome place to lay your head after long days exploring, there's so many great bars Deli's and food places at your disposal and walking distance to local attractions and Subways. The key pickup/drop off couldn't have been easier! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Elisa's place is absolutely charming! The location is vibrant and exciting and it is easy to move about anywhere in NYC from her location/home. We love to go out to dinner, but also love to buy and cook for ourselves and HER kitchen had many of the things that I use in my own kitchen...great knives, good sturdy pots/pans, and lots of things that make food prep easy and fun. Whole Foods was a short walk and that was a great shopping spot for our needs...not to mention the fact that there were some extremely fresh fruits and vegetables all over the area--including ones in Chinatown and a market known as Essex Market that had some great international food choices, deli items, and fresh seafood. The local night life is vibrant and the ease with which to pick up keys for her home, as well as hailing a cab or traveling by subway, made her place a great destination whether or not you have never been to NYC or you may have wished to go back again. The apartment/flat is roomy and bright and the view from the balcony at night looks just like an NYC sparkling evening out on the town. Elisa was gracious and sweet in returning our calls or texts regarding questions about the area, the food, and how/where to find things in the flat or in the area. Elisa was a lovely, kind, and gracious host who seems to love her town! Thanks for letting us stay in YOUR home in your city....Sincerely, Rhonda and Brad
