Newly renovated house by the beach, with a veranda and garden with amazing view on Stavros Bay and the Aegean Islands. Unique location, close to the city center yet very quiet. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6. Fully equipped. New pictures available soon

The space

The house is located in a unique spot, a peninsula with a 360° panoramic view on the Aegean Sea and its islands, on the ancient Venetian port and the church of Stavros, on the mountains and on the city of Tinos.
Very close to the house there is a series of beautiful sand beaches (the closest one at less than 1 min walk), protected from the wind and ideal also for kids. Close by there are cobblestone beaches and rocks perfect for fishing.
The area is quiet, yet very close to the city center and the port (500m), where all sort of facilities are available (supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, banks). The location of the house is perfect for a vacation that combines relax, sun and sea, cultural visits and nightlife.
Tinos is an island still unspoiled that has well preserved its history and traditions (there are more than 40 villages and 1000 country churches and 600 dovecotes), cultural events, festivals and local celebrations. Many activities are available: walking (along the several mule paths that cross the whole island), trekking, climbing, surf, scuba diving.
The house has just been renovated and it features a veranda and garden with sea view, 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin, with the possibility to add a third bed), a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and living room.

Tinos is a wonderful island and the house by the sea is a marvellous place to explore it from. Elena was around to help us with anything we needed and checked in on us. She was very helpful. The biggest surprise of our stay were the wonderful beaches, the fantastic food, and the villages up in the hillls. We spent the days exploring and our evenings after dinner in town on our lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The place was so peaceful and wonderful to start the day from as well as return to later.

We vere a family of 5 staying in the house and we had a great stay. The house was great with a great view. The nearby beach was small but good and there was a beach 5 min walk from there that was fantastic. We could walk into Tinos town (1 km). Overall we had a great stay.

We stayed with a family of five (two teenagers, one small child) at Xenias house A for nine days in early October. During and before our stay, we had several questions regarding our trip and she was most helpful in answering each one of them in no time. The appartment is rather spacious and does overlook the Mediterranean Sea. It only gets evening sun (plus early morning in the bedrooms) which is nice for the sunsets; however it is rather shady for staying inside during daytime. The interior is all new and very clean. The essentials were provided in the kitchen as well as in the shower. After one week the appartment was cleaned and the linens were changed. The house lies on a small peninsula adjacent to an ancient windmill. The mill is not active anymore but the wind certainly was at work during our stay! For that reason we could not really profit from the surroundings of the house. During the summer, the wind probably is nice and cooling but in early October it was rather nasty. The small beach down at Stavros is quite wind-protected and only 2 minutes away. We could make out two more wind-protected beaches: Pachia Amos by Kionia (2 min. by car) and Santa Margarita on the east side of the island (20 min. by car). The island is very diverse and all (!) the people very friendly. In fall, it feels very remote and is well worth an exploration.
