Welcome to our large, lofted one bedroom unit, on 2 levels with an open concept.

It is perfect for a couple, but can sleep up to 4 people.

It has a full kitchen with lots of counterspace, double kitchen sink and dishwasher.

Has a new 42" flat screen TV

High cathedral ceilings, mountain views, river rock gas fireplace, secure ski storage room, hot tub, outdoor heated swimming pool, Sauna, BBQ's, FREE secure underground parking, and washer/dryer in the building.

All in a newer complex located just across from the Creekside gondola (less than 90 yards/meters).

Creekside is known as the quieter alternative to the main village

It is also just across the street from restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, liquor store, bank, Starbucks, Whistler guest services, kids ski school, ski rentals etc...

Outdoor heated pool, hottub, sauna, FREE secure underground parking, secure ski storage, large lobby area, etc ....

Lake Placid Lodge is easy to find and is setup well for the ease of unloading your baggage. Pull up to the front lobby doors, grab a luggage cart, lock up your skis in the locker room , park in the secured underground parking. Then up the elevator to the unit, slip into your swimsuit, grab a drink of choice and then head down to the hot tub, heated outdoor pool or sauna and you're there. You are now in full Vacation mode.

Sandra was an excellent host and communications were great. The location is ideal for skiers - as you can be on your way up the Whistler Creekside gondola (or over to Blackcomb via the Peak to Peak gondola) within 2 minutes of walking out the door. You can also ski all the way back down to Creekside or download via the gondola depending on weather conditions or how tired you are at the end of the day. All necessities such bus stops to Vancouver and Whistler village , ski rental, groceries, liquor store and cafés are right across the street. Underground parking is included for those who drive and the ski locker near the front door provides easy and secure storage. The pool and hot tub are large and properly heated to provide both a social and therapeutic setting after a day on the slopes. The building itself is older than most other condos in the area - so if granite and stainless steel are what you're looking for, then this isn't the place. But it's highly recommended if you're looking for 3 star accommodations with all the necessities in a 5 star location.

The location of the condo could not be any better - right across the road from the Creekside Gondola, ideal access for skiing. The lodge is very functional with several important amenities for winter stay: underground parking prevents shoveling, outdoor hot pool and hot tub are very pleasant after a day of skiing, central ski storage on the first floor and coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the basement. While the Creekside is the smaller of the two Whistler-area villages, it has a few dining options, a coffee shop and a well stocked supermarket, short walk from the lodge. The condo is spacious and basic as described in the listing but would benefit from some updating.

We enjoyed our stay in Whistler. The unit was warm. Sandra was easy to communicate with. Access to the apartment was facilitated by the use of a codes which always makes checkin easier. It was very close to the gondola and it was great to be able to leave skis there. The lodge did not have a drying room, but we did not have any problems drying our wet gear inside the apartment. There is lift access to the apartment, but the stairs inside the apartment are fairly steep, so if you have mobility issues this might not be the apartment for you, however, we had no difficulties. The lighting was inadequate for our needs. The lounge area & bedrooms had lamps only, and no overhead lighting apart from the kitchen & bathroom. The apartment accommodated 2 comfortably. The bed was beautifully comfortable and warm.

The location was great and the amenities at the lodge were excellent. Was a hassle having to take ski boots to the apartment each day, but we survived. The apartment is only really big enough for 2 adults, there were 4 of us. I misread the layout plan, so a bit squishy but we made it work. Kitchen was well kitted out.

We had a great time in Sandra's condo. It is within 100 steps from the Creekside gondola which is great. Instructions were clear to get access. There is a ski locker off the lobby so remember to bring your ski lock. The loft was really nice. There is a gas fireplace which heats the suite quite nicely. Creekside is quiet, not much to walk around to see but also not the crazy noise of the village. Small grocery and a few other stores near by. Parking was easy and there are trolleys if you've packed for a long stay. Bed was very comfortable.

Sandra was great. All her instructions were very detailed and clear. She was able to make the apartment available a day earlier at the last minute too, which was a life-saver. The apartment is exactly as described - very comfortable and perfectly located close to the Creekside Gondola. I enjoyed my week there immensely and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to stay in Whistler village but wants convenient access to the mountain.
