The space
Welcome to Casa Pacifique — an ocean view villa in the town of Potrero, Guanacaste. Perfect for families and couples, with stunning sunsets, modern comforts, and walkable access to three beautiful beaches.

LOCATION
Potrero is a quiet coastal town that blends the warmth of local Tico culture with a welcoming expat community. Once a small fishing village, it retains the charm of old Costa Rica, offering a tranquil setting far from crowded tourist areas. The newly built $50M Flamingo Marina is nearby, and guests are within a short drive of other scenic beaches like Danta, Dantita, Flamingo, and Conchal. Tamarindo is about 50 minutes away, and Liberia International Airport is just over an hour by car.

THE VILLA spans four levels and accommodates up to eight guests. On the main level, you’ll find an open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The dining space features a custom Guanacaste wood table that seats eight with ocean views. Guests can enjoy breakfast and housekeeping services (please inquire), or hire a private chef.

GUEST PRIVACY
Casa Pacifique is our family’s second home. When we are in Costa Rica, we may stay in the private apartment at the bottom of the property. Guests have full privacy, and we do not use the pool or any guest spaces during your stay.

A detailed welcome package and rental agreement will be provided upon booking.

If you are traveling with small children or have any mobility issues you need to consider the following before booking: The Villa is located at the top of a very steep driveway, there are 4 levels, so many stairs to climb.

Construction - Please note that Potrero is a growing community, and this means that construction may be occurring during your stay. It's not uncommon to see and hear ongoing construction nearby. Currently there house being built next to our property. We cannot control their hours of operation.

Daily housekeeping is included except for housekeepers days off.

The villa and property have security cameras on the outside only to capture different entry points. We do not have any inside the home. We respect our guests privacy and only have them as added protection for the home.

Pool and gardens are serviced 2 times a week.

Costa Rica is our family's second home, so when we choose to rent the villa out to guests and are in Costa Rica, we may be staying in the apartment at the bottom of the property. You will have complete privacy and we do not have access to the pool during your stay.

Casa Pacifique in the town of Potrero is conveniently located within walking distance to three beautiful beaches, Playa Penca, Playa Prieta, and Playa Potrero . You are also a short car ride away from several other beaches, Sugar beach, Playa Danta, Dantita, Flamingo beach, Playa Conchal. Tamarindo is a 50 min drive away. There are a few restaurants and local grocery stores within walking distance from property and many other great dining options and grocery stores a short drive away. Liberia airport is one hour away from house.

Wake up to the sound of Howler Monkeys, plenty of birds and wildlife. You are also very likely to see the Howlers in front of the property in the big mango tree across the street.

Potrero is a hidden jewel in the north-west of Guanacaste stretching from Flamingo, thru Surfside to the town of Potrero. It is a quiet town and used to be a small fishing village. The New $50M Flamingo Marina is located on the South-West corner of Playa Potrero Beach (adjacent to Playa Flamingo). Playa Potrero is a 2.5 mile long beach and it is home to a friendly community of Ticos (locals) and Ex-pats who enjoy the serene atmosphere and beautiful location of this adorable little town. The town offers everything you need including shops, restaurants, and bars. If you want a quiet peaceful Costa Rica vacation, Potrero is the place for you. This rural town embraces the old Costa Rican coast villages style and can be seen as a tranquil spot away from other touristy places.
