Hiya! I'm Kristyn, a marine biologist living in beautiful Bristol, ME with my animals, Moose the cat and Blue the dog. My happy little home sits at the end of a dirt road, next to about 40 acres of forest, after which lies a popular kayaking river. I live in a peaceful neighborhood and fall asleep listening to the sounds of crickets and bullfrogs every summer night. My favorite way to spend my time at home is sitting around a campfire with friends.

The space
I am conveniently located 10 minutes from grocery stores, famous seafood restaurants and Co-ops, and the popular downtown Damariscotta shops. If your into a more rustic scene (I am too!) the house is just a stones throw away from well loved beaches, campgrounds, scenic cliff outlooks, and hiking trails.

There is an organic farm just down the street from me (a short walk away) with an awesome selection of organic cheese and veggies, free range meat and eggs, and more. Also right down the road from me is a kayak rental store, post office, Deb's Bristol Diner (fantastic breakfast!) and a swimming pond.

My home is about a ten minute drive from the Monhegan ferry that leaves out of New Harbor, and 12 minutes from the Pemiquid Lighthouse and Beach.

During your stay

During weekdays, I work about a 8am to 5:00pm schedule, but will always be available via phone or email and encourage you to contact me any time you can think of something that would help make your stay even better. Many times I have to work at sea, and on weekends I might go out hiking, head to Portland, travel to the mountains, or hang out with friends, but again I'm always just a text away.
