Private room available in 19th century Victorian home in the heart of Downtown Augusta. This room is in an old B&B and all rooms have private baths and access to a small, shared kitchen. The house has a ton of charm and each room has privacy locks for added peace of mind. The area of town is perfect for walking downtown, close to everything. We recommend Whiskey Bar Kitchen, Frog Hollow Tavern & Bees Knees as the best places to eat! You are minutes from the schools and hospitals for students.

Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and bars in downtown Augusta. The room was relatively quiet with an attached bathroom, overall plenty of space. Michael was a very responsive host, had no issues. If you are planning on an extended stay and doing your own cooking, the kitchen is a little small. Outside of that, great place and would stay there again.

Great space, close to really wonderful places to eat and tour. Excellent if you don't plan on having a car and want to see or work downtown. Pharmacy and grocery could be a problem but I didn't have a long visit and so didn't need them. A great health food breakfast and lunch place next to a bookstore with an outside area where people play chess is right around the corner. Also the museum, river walk and a nice little park with a water fountain. The room is spacious and clean. I do think it would be even more perfect with a welcome note & maybe a bottle of water, white linens in the room when you arrive simply because it's such a classy place. Also I think Michael should give out a phone number so guests are not concerned when arriving since it is an unfamiliar private home on a block with several homes. He had given me the number address off one digit so I was at the back of the house next to where I was to stay looking for a lock box. Michael came out though and all was solved but a phone number would have helped. Again all in all a really spectacular clean room and comfortable but if I were there in the summer I'd want air conditioning.

I loved the space. It was much bigger than I expected. The location was wonderful. The room I stayed in was very clean. I loved having my own bathroom and TV. The host was easy to reach via text message and was close by if I needed him. Toiletries, bath towels, and some shampoos were provided. The stairs outside the room were dirty, which was to be expected with multiple tenants living in the house. There was only maybe a handful of nights when I felt my neighbors were a bit too loud, but I turned on the bathroom fan, and that muted out all noise. I loved the place.

If you love antique charm, this is the perfect stay! Enjoyed my visit - great location w/in walking distance to Broad Street, quiet, private, with a soft mattress that slept great. Michael was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I look forward to staying again!

Room is large, comfortable and as described. House is in a great location (safe, walking distance to downtown) and plenty of parking. It is an old house and there was a cat in the room at some point, if you know what I mean. But the smell is only slight. Advice: Get all the particulars from host BEFORE you arrive - parking instructions, key instructions, and room number. Michael is pretty responsive but this will make everything smoother for you when you arrive. I will be back my next time in Augusta.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We were excited to be attending the Masters for the first time. When we were directed to where we could find the keys, we entered and found a huge bag of garbage in the entry. The carpet on the staircase looked like it never had been cleaned. Our room was not clean when we entered. The bed had no top sheet.. The bathroom had a used bar of soap, hair and dirt on the sink. The bathtub was also dirty with soap caked . The tub had never been cleaned. We called Christy and she was sweet on the phone and would send someone over, which she did. It was a nice surprise to have a round of drinks sent over to our dinner party, which was greatly appreciated. However we again called later when we realized that we only had one bath towel and no extra toilet paper. The room was not clean. We only stayed because we knew Augusta was sold out. We felt the least you expect is cleanliness when you rent. When the tournament was over we decided to leave the Air B and B and drive to Atlanta and rent a room. This was prime time in Augusta and no excuses for the amount paid, for a room that was so disappointing .
