This is one of the few places in the area with a pool.
A MUCH TRAVELED GUEST APTLY SUMMED IT AS THE MOST "SERENE" PLACE HE HAD BEEN TO. NESTLED AMONG LUSH TEA GARDENS FACING A WILD LIFE SANCTUARY "SHALAKO" IS A WORLD APART. THE ROAD LEADING UP TO OUR PLACE WINDS DOWN TO THE VALLEY BELOW-ON ANY GIVEN DAY LESS THAN 10 PEOPLE USE THIS ROAD AND VEHICLES ARE EVEN FEWER. MOST DAYS WE HAVE A DENSE FOG THAT SETTLES IN EARLY IN THE MORNING AND STAYS ON TILL THE SUN IS UP. AND THE WIND - THE NORTH EASTERN - BLOWS ALL DAY - GENTLY TUGGING AT THE HEART..

The space
All rooms are very spacious with high quality furnishing and bed linen. They all have their own private entrance and have balconies attached. The bedroom on the ground floor has a garden in front with a seating area. All bedrooms have attached bathrooms with 24 hour Hot water geysers. A Kettle / Water Bottle/ Tea - Coffee sachets/ cups are also available in the rooms. All bedrooms have TV's. Also there is a library and playing area with Table tennis and Pool table.The kitchen is contemporary with a Rice cooker/ toaster/ gas / fridge / mixie/ oven and washing machine. Required utensils are also available. The swimming pool is accessible to all .

The playing area /swimming pool and kitchen is accessible to all. The surrounding tea gardens are also easily accessible.

Other things to note
We have a full time Cook at the property and food is prepared as per our menu. No self cooking is allowed. We also arrange for BBQ and Campfire

Neighbourhood highlights

We have a road leading up to our hilltop which then winds down to valley below. On any given day around 10 people use the road . We have a small temple about 100 mtrs from the property - but it is closed most of the time. There is a 8 acre fenced off orchard in front with fruit trees / spices and tea growing in it. And there are tea gardens all around our property. It is a silent area peaceful area to relax in. We arrange for a Jeep Safari which takes you to four different viewing locations and is a worthwhile experience.
